My Grandmother experienced was great Katie and Donna from Admissions was Very detailed and helpful with the whole process and the Activity Director Lashonda was great as well. My grandmother enjoyed the Elvis Party that she attended she keeps raving about it.
I had a wonderful experience at West Chester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, and I especially want to recognize Donna. She is one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve met. She always greets everyone with a smile, takes the time to listen, and goes above and beyond to make residents and their families feel welcome and supported. Her compassion, patience, and positive attitude truly make a difference every day. Thank you, Donna, for all that you do—you are a big part of what makes this place feel so welcoming!
I would not recommend this nursing home rehabilitation facility to anyone. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff was often inattentive and seemed overwhelmed, which led to long wait times whenever assistance was needed. Basic needs like help with mobility, hygiene, and medication were not handled in a timely or consistent manner. Communication was another major issue. It was very difficult to get clear answers about care plans, billing, or even daily updates. It felt like no one was on the same page, and as a result, the level of care suffered. For a place…
For a place that is supposed to help patients recover, the lack of organization and professionalism was alarming. The facility itself was not well-maintained. Cleanliness was inconsistent, and the environment did not feel comfortable or welcoming. No hot water most days, and the patients are not showered daily. This only added to the stress of an already difficult situation. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and concerned about the quality of care provided here. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want reliable, compassionate, and attentive rehabilitation services. Lisa
This place is the worst rehab i’ve ever been to!!!!!! If i could give 0 stars i would because of what they put my grandmother through and how greedy they were! My grandma was in there for 3 weeks and the first week they completely neglected her to the point where she got bed sores. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and lacked respect. I could tell how negligent they were because when i first went to visit her, the other people staying there were screaming “HELP” and “THEY DONT DO ANYTHING I NEED HELP”! Then they almost doubled her dosage of medication and thank god my grandma noticed and stopped them because if she didn’t my grandma would have overdosed! On top of everything, her physical therapist was suppose to show up everyday to help her and only showed up when it was “convenient” and when they did show up they were disrespectful and aggressive (physically) with her and the other patients staying. My grandma said she witnessed someone crying one day and they didn’t care at all! They just wanted to keep her for the money and had no ounce of care in their hearts to take care of her or do their job correctly. Worst environment i’ve ever been to and the entire staff are incapable of doing their job. PLEASE dont send your loved ones here!!!!
The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the food is alright
I recently visited a loved one at West Chester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and had a very positive experience. From time I walked in the warm welcome from the receptionist and the staff was very attentive, and genuinely caring toward both residents and other visitors. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had a calm, supportive atmosphere. It gave me peace of mind knowing my loved one is in good hands. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism shown during my visit.
Great job by the concierge and therapy team
This place was recommended for my mother for rehab and possibly long term care. What a mistake that was. I’m supposed to have weekly updates about her progress and haven’t. Every time I go to visit she’s in a wheelchair just sitting in the common area. The aides are busy on their phones and can’t be bothered. The staff and administrators are anything but friendly. Also, we brought her a lot of clothing and they can’t locate them. Don’t expect any updates!!! Communication is horrible!
