This is an update on the care of this facility. So about a week ago my mom tells me her insurance won't cover her stay any longer and they have to discharge her. I explain that her house isn't ready for her to move back it's dangerous there's no bed in there no kitchen no railing no way for her to stay there. I even told them this several times. I spent all day on the phone trying to get through to supervisor social worker anything like that and I don't know
My great aunt was admitted here in June for about 10 days after a several week stay in the hospital. She was there to regain her walking abilities and to help with several other health issues. Over a month later, I am still disheartened by the cruel indifference and apathetic attitude by quite a few of the nursing staff that myself and other family members had seen with our own eyes. They left her in a diaper when she does not have incontinence issues simply because they were too lazy to take her to the bathroom with assistance. While her physical abilities and strength improved here, I was most disturbed by the discharge plan after her insurance ran out. Most of her family is out of state and I was unable to pick her up due to not having a car. They organized “transport” to her home which ended up being an uber with an unvetted driver. She had only been walking WITH assistance for two days. They didn’t notify me when she’d arrive home or when she left. She was dropped off at the front door of her disability-unfriendly home at just 90lbs and limited mobility with a suitcase and a walker. Thank god her neighbor was around because she would not have been able to get into the home easily. Additionally, there was 0 plan in place so the family has been struggling with advanced care organization ever since. Really you should be ashamed, what if this was a woman who had absolutely no one? If you don’t think of the human beings, at least think of your liability. I do NOT recommend this place - do not let its updated appearance fool you.

I don't have any complaints. The people who work here really care and they show up for you. From my housekeeper down to the therapist. Everyone is polite.
This therapy department is very attentive and each therapist is pleasant and care about the progress I am making. They go out of their way to help me to ensure I am my strongest when I return home.
Great staff! Extremely helpful!
