I wanted to share a genuine shout out to Shari and Sarah who have supported many of my clients with top level customer service when hosting us for tours and education. They truly care. You can tell from the warm greeting and smiles you get when greeted at the door! They are interested in the family as much as the potential resident. The right questions are asked and they establish trust and understanding instantly. I watch my clients come in at times nervous and anxious. These woman are so good at what they do. I feel the tension leave and the concerns are conveyed with ease and willingness.…

We appreciate you and what you do for the community. Way to go!! 10 ⭐️!!
I had the best experience at Birches of Newtown. It was clean and had a warm, inviting feel. Their executive director, Lakia, is wonderful. She made me feel at home and spent time answering all of my questions. The residents were all smiling and happy. I would highly recommend you visit here if you are looking for a home for a loved one !!
Terrible place to live. Cold dinners, no nutrition. Temperature in room difficult to control. “Aids” don’t respond to emergencies until they are tracked down. Then they bring their home drama to your room. No privacy, ie. knocking on doors, “Medics” are not trained medical staff. Just computer trained. Given a box mattress to sleep on. Was treated like a child with no rights. Was double billed for medication and now that I’m gone, can’t get anyone on phone to respond or resolve. I can not recommend the Birch’s and will never go back there myself again!
I had the pleasure of touring The Birches at Newtown today and was so impressed. From the moment I arrived, the community felt warm, welcoming, and full of heart. It’s a beautiful location tucked right in Bucks County. Betsy, the Marketing Director, was so kind and informative — you can tell she genuinely cares about the families she works with. If you’re exploring senior living or memory care options for a loved one, The Birches is definitely worth a visit
Good: attractive physical plant; great location; some very good staff members. Improvements to lift rating: better direction of staff ; better training of employees ; less reliance on agency personnel in care giving roles.
The facility and staff are wonderful. It smells clean, the people are wonderful, energy is good. Unfortunately the staff has high turnover and so very short staffed bc of the type of work (God's work). Any progress made with lunch or activities is usually set back due to staff shortages. The team that is there is wonderful. So trying to balance the staffing difficulties with the goodness of the facility itself which. Is top notch
We are extremely happy with all aspects of care provided by the Birches at Newtown. Every staff member goes above and beyond to assist my mother in law in any way possible. Administration truly cares about all aspects of the residents well being and they are as in tuned to the day to day activities as the nursing staff. Also, administration is extremely welcoming with an open door policy for residents and family members. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. The maintenance department is always hard at work and also takes the time out of their busy schedule to check in on my mother in law to see how she is doing. The recreational therapy department is amazing too. There are so many different activities that she participates in and she has made so many friends as a result of engaging in them. There is even a daily movie in the movie theater. The dining room is beautiful and she is always complimenting the dining staff and how attentive they are to her. There is physical therapy in house and she loves working with her as well. Last but certainly not least, the nursing staff is amazing and very intuned to all her needs.
Very happy with facility and administrative staff. Have had some dissatisfaction with call bell response time, but it seems to be improving. Everyone tries to accommodate.
