I visited a love one. Beautiful community. Executive Director Tim was so personable. I watched him interact with other residents and staff. My aunt has never had one complaint. She has lived there for over 3 years. .
been trying to get a hold of any simpsonfacility and no one answers the phones. I can imagine just how slow they get back to answering tenant calls.
My mother was in the rehabilitation part . She was treated well. She ate and was credited for well. Her floor was clean and kept up. Food was good. I wanted to eat it. Unfortunately my mom passed about 2.months later. But I really appreciate her last few months. Partly tha is to the Simpson House!
There is a warmth and comfortable culture at Simpson House. The Olde Main building is so charming with its history.
I toured Simpson House on my own. I discovered that they were too expensive because they would take people who have a larger income than what my brother had, so he couldn't afford them at all. However, it's a very nice place, and they gave me a nice tour. They offer cleaning services, trips, and food, and those matter to me. The apartments were very nice, too. The staff who gave the tour was very respectful, very kind, and nice, and he tried to help me get my brother in. They said the seniors would need to have their own income because if a senior comes in on the sense that somebody else is going to pay their bill, and then something happens to the person that's going to pay the bill (or their finance), and they can't pay their bill, they would have to move out, and he said he doesn't want to put them out, so I understood that.
My mother has been in independent living at Simpson House for several months now. While it has been a significant change for her, I could not have asked the staff and residents to be more supportive with her transition. The meals are very high quality. Everyone has been very welcoming. I am grateful she is safe and in good hands.
My aunt died in the facility five years ago and we still haven't received our deposit back. We have inquired many times only to hear that her room hasn't been rented out. They don't even respond to lawyers so what chance do we have of getting our $25000 dollars back? They should be held accountable by someone because the Better Business Bureau said they couldn't do anything
Simpson House boasts beautiful architecture. Interiors are lovely. The grounds are a dream. Movie -worthy. However, basic courtesy on the part of some employees is sadly lacking. It can be very difficult to have concerns about this addressed or even believed. The disconnect between the charm of Simpson House and the negative conduct of some employees is stark. Thankfully, there are many good-hearted staffers here. Still, please make courtesy toward ALL , standard operating procedure. It can be done. Where there's a will, there's a way.
