At the time of admission, her skin was clean and fully intact. Since then, she has developed three pressure injuries, including one that appears to be unstageable. At the time of admission, her skin was clean and fully intact. Since then, she has developed three pressure injuries, including one that appears to be unstageable. These wounds are serious and should have been preventable with appropriate care. We have also observed multiple care concerns that appear related to insufficient staffing within the facility: • She has been left sitting in soiled briefs for extended periods • She does not appear to be repositioned regularly • When family requests assistance, nurses state that only aides can provide that care, yet aides are not available or responding • Staff frequently appear overwhelmed and unable to meet residents’ basic needs promptly I have attempted to address these issues internally by contacting Cat, the Assistant Director of Nursing, through both phone and email. No response has been provided. Given the seriousness of the situation, we had her transferred to agh on 12/2 where she was admitted with sepsis
My dad was only there for a few days. The room was clean and neat. The facility in general was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and very accomodating. I never felt that dad was being neglected and I didn't regret sending him there.
DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, they have no staff and when they do have staff they send them home because its “overstaffed” management does not help or is ever on the floor to CARE enough for the workers they are burning out. Today I am disgusted at the portion sizes my dad is getting he is DOUBLE PORTIONS BUT THEY SAID THEY DONT DO THAT HERE ANYMORE!!!!! Shame on this building get your loved ones out of here
I want to thank the entire staff on behalf of my wife, Marybeth. Having just completed a two week stay, she made wonderful improvement. We particularly want to thank the PT, OT, and Speech Therapy teams. The teams were well staffed, effective and were kind and professional. The activities staff always had a smile and a good cup of coffee for a caffeine deprived visitor. The nursing staff was attentive and helpful. The rooms are large and kept very clean. Thank you all for your kindness and thoughtfulness. Best to the entire staff. Marybeth and John Kuras
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! One star is giving this place a favor!!! my grandmother has been in this facility for two weeks and counting and has been treated poorly by almost every staff member except for a small handful. The aids at the desk would rather scroll on their phones than help patients. I come to visit to find her arm is gashed and gushing blood. she asked for a bandage and it took close to 45 minutes for any nurse to come in. The Aids came in prior and say they can’t help and walk out of the room. This is just disgusting, unsanitary and pitiful service. The staff here have no bedside manner and act like the patients are a huge inconvenience to them and they act this way even with family present. They have no shame whatsoever. There have also been soiled sheets lying all over the facility, while the aids at the desk scroll on their phones. One of the staff was on FaceTime as my grandmas assist alarm is flashing. If you love your loved one, you would do whatever you could to avoid this place at all costs.
Ridiculously understaffed, especially on weekends and nights. But even during the day, the nurses take forever to respond. Medication could be given 4+ hours late. Physical therapy was the only good thing
My mother recently had a hospice respite stay at this facility. The staff was very friendly and nice. Both the facility and room were clean and well appointed. During her stay she enjoyed engaging in the activities, especially bingo. Facility staff worked with hospice company to ensure all medications and medical equipment were ordered and delivered prior to arrival - everything went well with her stay.
I fractured my ankle in 3 places and I'm not able to bare weight on my right leg. After I left the hospital I came here for 9 days before coming home. I'm so glad I did! I was cared for very well and the nurses, aides and staff were great helping me with whatever I needed. They have a great physical therapy room and team! They taught me the proper way to use my walker and gave me exercises to do to strengthen my arms. My room was very clean and was cleaned daily.
