ZERO STARS!!!!! I myself just got out of there. I have NEVER been treated so badly. Totally understaffed and made me sit on my own filth for an hour half the days. They do not like following doctors orders and I wound up with 2 infections and just got out of the hospital. I spent a month in there or less but worse days ever. I have to give credit to the nurses that cared but quit and also the rehab department as well as the activities director that personally fought to have my hair dyed. The rest can sit in there own filth and see if they like it.
I spent 2 weeks there after being in the hospital for 2 weeks the staff was wonderful They did a great job with my care and rehab
To see the way they care for our loved ones, like they are their own. The environment is clean, the residents are well cared for, and the staff seem like one large family. If your loved one is in need of care or rehab, this is a wonderful place.
The past 6 months have been some of the best since I started working at the gardens. It is like one big family that cares, is there and wants to help. To see the residents thrive and be happy makes me happy. Also, we have one of the best soup makers around:)
My mother was there in 2018. They were understaffed. They stopped rotating her in the bed and didn't offer any explanation for this. When she got sent to Moses Taylor Hospital for an illness, the hospital's staff said she had a huge bedsore.
Gardens at Scranton is a lovely neighborhood assisted living home. The facility is clean and safe, the staff is warm, and caring, and the Activities Dept. provides lots of programs and entertainment to create a fun environment!
Immediately coming off the elevator is the strong scent of urine. The floors are unclean, the residents are unattended. Noticeably understaffed.
This place is deplorable and understaffed. My sister was placed there for 24 days and in those days she was left in a dirty briefs for 10 or more hours which resulted in her developing a UTI. She got huge bruise on her stomach and was fed ground hot dogs on several occasions for lunch and dinner because of her teeth. The only good thing about this place was the physical therapy deportment.
