My mother was recently in for a rehabilitation stay , and I have to say , it was such a wonderful experience for her and our family. The facility is immaculately clean ,bright and cheerful .The whole staff was so helpful and caring and always available to answer any questions or concerns.The therapies department did an outstanding job getting my mom back on her feet and walking .The dining room/kitchen staff were so accommodating with the food options and everything was very good and well prepared . My mother was recently in for a rehabilitation stay , and I have to say , it was such a wonderful experience for her and our family. The facility is immaculately clean ,bright and cheerful .The whole staff was so helpful and caring and always available to answer any questions or concerns.The therapies department did an outstanding job getting my mom back on her feet and walking .The dining room/kitchen staff were so accommodating with the food options and everything was very good and well prepared . My mom also enjoyed all the snacks and ice cream .The activities in the facility were wonderful, everyday there were a few activities throughout the day . My mom really enjoyed the therapy baby kangaroo visit!! The beauty salon was so clean and she was able to get her hair cut and colored while there and that really made her feel good !! I would recommend Scranton Healthcare in a heartbeat to anyone trying to decide. A special thank you to whole staff , the nurses, cna's , aides, doctors that helped my mom regain her strength .We appreciate , we trusted you and knew our mom was in the best hands! Recommend this facility. Great staff
My sister had a stroke, and had an aortic disection she has been recently discharged thanks to the great staff at Scranton health care center. She spent 3 months at the facility. Every time she had an appointment with her doctor she was transported. They took care of her every need. The nursing staff were on her care day and night. The therapy staff were great getting her where she should be to be able to go home. The office staff is great they keep you updated with everything that the insurance is paying for.
Everyone working at this place is so nice and kind from administration to nursing to therapy. I have no complaints... If I ever need some care again, I know where I'm going - back to scrantonn health care center!
My father recently spent a short stay. He came in very weak and unable to walk or change his clothes. In a few short weeks they had him walking and eating well. He has now come home and is doing much better than I had hoped for. I can't give enough praise to the nurses, therapists, and office personnel! Everyone treated my father with the most kind and careful care. I would recommend them to anyone who needs kind, loving, care! I will forever be thankful to Scranton Health care for bringing my father back to life. Love you all!! Len Kachinski, (son)
My Uncle who I care for has been at Scranton Healthcare for 2 months now. I can’t say enough good things about them. From admin, PT, Nurses to aids and everyone in-between. They have been kind and informative. They have helped me with every step and every decision. Mostly they never complain when I call to check on him. Thank you!!!
