I really appreciate the time and effort that the therapists, doctor, aides and staff people took with me and my brother today. Exceptional work! Richard, one of the therapists there had my brother walking. I hadn't seen him walk in years.

Very pleasant place. The location is convienent to the local bus service and the tenants seem content and happy. If i were looking for a retirement home, i definitely would consider this place.

Everyone very friendly. My friend room was neat and clean.

Very welcoming and friendly. Nice facilities and a very helpful staff. Food is not bad also.

Of what I've seen so far I am not happy at all. I had to clean up seven water cups out of my mom's room the one nurse was really nasty to me when I was asking questions and she doesn't get some of her laundry back some nice blankets she didn't get back in some clothes. Also the environment and surroundings look old and outdated she does not like the food at all so all in all it's not a good place

My husband is in Spring Creek. The staff on his floor (S3) are phenomenal, both DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS. I love how willing they are to accommodate your loved one & demonstrate empathy and compassion for the concerns of the family. They listen & then problem-solve. My husband & I love the staff. To be fair, the day shift staff on S1 demonstrated respect, patience, & kindness toward him, and treated him as they would have treated their own grandfather. There were some standouts we loved during the day shift on S1, and those individuals know who they are. They were so good to him, and he speaks of them fondly. We were thankful for that day shift staff when he was there. I won't say much about S1 nightshift because there are a few who seemed to be hardworkers & respectful, and I will not paint that whole nightshift as the same. Besides there's always room for improvement and accountability. The leadership addressed it immediately. I believe there are some good people on that shift who may benefit from learning compassion & empathy for their elders. The Spring Creek leadership team listens. They've been phenomenal with my husband & me. You are encouraged to share ideas for improvement with them & bring things to their attention that would improve the Spring Creek culture. If they don't know, how do they change it for the better? Additionally, we're impressed with the high level of medical health-care Spring Creek provides from UPMC. My husband's medical team covers every area of his physical & mental well-being. He sees a doctor including specialists (once a week), physician assistant provider(twice/weekly), RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PT, OT, pain specialists, transportation to appointments, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, etc. Last, I understand that there's room for improving the cleanliness of the rooms. The room he's in is kept relatively clean, much better than the room downstairs on S1. It was like day & night. So that indicated to me that some people take pride in what they do and some people don't. I was taught to do the best job possible no matter what I did. I believe some people benefit from re-training with respect to how a job needs to be completed. I also feel how it's communicated is important...is it assertively done or is it aggressively done? That can make a difference in how someone is willing to complete a job. Hey, I'm not saying they don't do that at Spring Creek. I said all that to say that the cleanliness seems relative to the person who may be responsible for a particular room. I don't know. What I do know...if we have any problems, they were addressed, promptly, & if we didn’t understand procedures they clarified them. I explained to my husband that they aren't able to rush to him for non-emgergencies, (like he was use to me doing) because they may be working with another patient. They also call me at the drop of a dime if anything occurs of concern to them. We, the family say, they're spoiling him (smh). He is well cared for there, and he really loves the staff. Our family appreciates how well they care for our loved one. We feel it's a blessing to see him not suffering unimaginable pain & see his smile again. Full disclosure: We are not in no way employees or have any affiliation with Spring Creek Rehabilation Center. LVP

Spent time with a resident. I found the staff to be exceptionally pleasant and supportive of many residents.

Great staff, very helpful
