Pleasant, clean, home away from home, offering many stimulation activities, and full of friendly residents and caring staff.
We just moved Dad into Simpson Meadows Assisted Living Community. We are so happy with our choice, he has been so active with things to do. The community is beautiful and food is delish. The care staff have been wonderful attending to his needs as he needs more help each day but we can sleep at night knowing he is looked after and medications are being properly managed all in this beautiful setting its like being on vacation every day for him. Tim the director has gone out of his way to make sure Dad is adjusting well and making new friends
I toured with Tim yesterday, and the community was absolutely beautiful and felt so homey. The memory care neighborhood truly stood out to me — the residents looked awake, vibrant, and full of energy, and everyone was well-groomed and cared for. It was heartwarming to see the staff so engaged and present with each resident.
Patients on 1st floor memory care are neglected I have submitted a state complaint. Patients lay in bed for 16-20hrs a day. Beds soaked in urine. Feces on patients.
While visiting my grandmother and her friends apartment I couldn’t help but notice the overwhelming stench that was present, lo and behold this is what I walked into. Disgusting.
Great facility, friendly staff. Took great care of my love ones. Top notch maintenance staff at the downingtown location. Would highly recommend
Many people in independent living have full days themselves apart from group activities ... however the activities director is very creative. Excellent, Friendly - for those looking for a residence of about 150 residents with about 100 in independent living and facilities and staff for assisted living and memory care for those who might benefit from these services either initially or as they reside here.
I toured Simpson Meadows Retirement Community. It's just really well-kept. It's nicely appointed. The people were wonderful. It's like one-stop shopping. They have a general practitioner, a podiatrist, and a dentist. They do phlebotomy work, x-rays, and a whole host of eye doctors that come into the facility, and any specialist you would go out with, they have transportation included. All types of activities and groups come in. They get musical groups that come once a week. They have a lot. They have dining and all that good stuff and housekeeping. You bring your belongings and furniture. I'll get to pick all the flooring, the wall colors, and all that stuff, so it's personalized right for my uncle. The tour was very informative. They've been great about staying in touch and working it through. They gave me a lot of guidance because he's a veteran. The services that would be beneficial to him and income from vets, they hooked me up with all that and even a realtor in Florida where he is, that would help with packing, moving out, and selling. The staff was wonderful. I've been in some of the buildings where you could smell urine and this one was immaculate.
