She needed therapy to built her strength back. And also get her blood sugar levels under control. She is making remarkable success, with the help of the therapy team. I give everyone thanks at the facility. Everyone has been kind, caring and patient with our mother. I don't feel like she is just a number to the staff. The whole team, therapy, nurses, CNA's ,the social workers have been wonderful. I hope I haven't forgot anyone. If I did I'm sorry. They…

My mother was sent to Scenery Hill, approximately 2 weeks ago. Of course like anyone else, who wants to be in a home. She wants to come home. She needed therapy to built her strength back. And also get her blood sugar levels under control. She is making remarkable success, with the help of the therapy team. I give everyone thanks at the facility. Everyone has been kind, caring and patient with our mother. I don't feel like she is just a number to the staff. The whole team, therapy, nurses, CNA's ,the social workers have been wonderful. I hope I haven't forgot anyone. If I did I'm sorry. They sat with myself and my brother with a game plan. They have encouraged her the whole way. Which I believe also has made a big difference. I know mom will be coming home soon. Because this facility helped by encouragement, kindness and caring about my mother. They gave her kind words of encouragement every day. Thanks to everyone who treated our mother like a person, not just a number or a dollar sign. The facility is clean, the food is great, no one is starving, nice size portions. Nice Labor day meal for the patients, gave me a meal, Friday so ate lunch with my mom. Again, Big Thanks to everyone. Oh, also a Big thanks, to my moms room mate. Patients family and staff not treated well from management. Management screams and is very rude with patients family and staff. They don’t care who hears or sees it. They have very little compassion for the patients. Two words describe it best…..POWER TRIP!

The staff at Scenery Hill are truly a group of angels. They are compassionate and caring to all the residents.
Quick to blame the patient. Staff and nurses are never on same page. Food stinks. Highly dissatisfied. Would not recommend at all.
I'm here because I had my hip replaced and need Rehabilitation. The therapist has been great and I should be leaving soon. The food is okay for the most part. Nursing staff is great as are the rest of the employees.
Only complaint is that it’s difficult to see the room numbers.
We have a Bible study group there every Friday. And the staff is always so friendly and willing to assist. They’re very good at bringing the residence to the Bible study that want to come. And they are always willing to go the extra mile to be helpful. We’ve been having a wonderful experience there. Also love the new check-in and check out procedure.
