Beautiful grounds. Very disappointing that I have a fear of elevators and they would not allow me to go down the steps to visit a friend there with hospice at the end of life. I asked to be accompanied by a staff member, as I was told it was for security that I had to take the elevator, but was declined. “We cannot do that for security reasons.” Boo hoo for me.
Absolutely awful staff…. They let my grandmother who can’t walk sit for over 12 minutes while pressing the button an they had done nothing, showed zero signs of anything or contacting anyone until I went to find out where anyone was…. They let her sit for over 30 minutes before…. She fell at one point bc they wouldn’t go help her… told no one for hours, took her to the ER…. ER was the one who told the family … this placed lied to us repeatedly, didn’t wanna admit what was going on… ABSOLUTELY AWFUL DISGUSTING PLACE, if you care about your family do NOT send them to this place!!!!!
Good care
This place is so much more than just the nursing facility. The monastery grounds offer acres upon acres of peace, quiet, and beauty. It's honestly one of the best kept secrets in town.
Mount Macrina Manor is a warm, welcoming, and well-run facility. The staff are kind, compassionate, and truly dedicated to their residents. The building is clean and peaceful, and the care provided is exceptional. You can feel the faith-based mission in every interaction. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality, dignified care for their loved one.
This place is terrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Rooms ok, nurses don't care to talk about patient. Greedy, repeat food daily, no feeders, not fir crippled who can't help themselves. They are ignored. Lonely place. Cold feeling. Over rated.Dont keep promises for long term.
My mother is in Mt. Macrina Manor. It's very homey, clean, and bright. The people are kind. They answered our questions. They're informative and helpful. They seem caring about my mom. I don't know if it was an actual gym or not, but I've seen workout equipment, and they have nice dayrooms with activities.
