Would rather not say , as no one ever returned a phone call , had to be constantly reminded of appointments, could not adequately take care of my wife's needs. Would take hours to answer nurses lite. Stole all of her robes that we took in and when asked to return them , nothing !!!. When asked to leave they stated they felt it wasn't safe so that way they didn't have to do the paperwork on a holiday, then when the day came for release they set f he time for 2pm . , when I got there that was news to them . Besides for a select few individuals who really cared , I would give it 1 star out of…

Jus so understaffed and the professionals leave alot of room for improvement
My 2nd Cousin ( Catherine Skrobot )was a resident of Laurel Ridge Center. She loved it there, everyone that I came into contact with at the Center was always sweet and kind, the Staff would call me to let me know how she was doing. They nicknamed her Queen Catherine and her room mate was Princess _______. A few times that I was there I witnessed one of the Staff handing out special treats to some of the residents. They would show up at her office door and she would know what treat they were looking for. Some wanted small powdered donuts orhers wanted crackers or Lil Debbie cakes. She buys…

Small facility , hard working compassionate staff treats the residents like family ! Clean facility also have fun activities for the residents to engage in and a good rehab program .
Very clean facility. Staff always addresses needs promptly and keeps family up to date with changes when we can make it in to visit.
Please read this! If you have the ability to not take your loved one here you will see why! I know some insurances only cover limited locations. The insurance companies should see who they are paying before they suggest a place like this. I do plan on making other calls about this. Thanks to those who take the time to read this. The quality of some medical facilities is revolting. My Mom needed a rehabilitation center after a compression fracture in her back an T7. This was not the first time to visit a center in my life, but this was the most disgusting, filthy environment I have EVER seen! Walls doors and the floors were so dirty I dont think they could be cleaned. If you have ever seen a place that clearly had not been cleaned in a VERY long time you will know this was not just a day or so of dirt. The smell overwhelmingly assaults you with the odor of feces. The staff we first encountered was rude and very mean! My Mom is a very compassionate and friendly person never wanting to be a bother to anyone. They did not have the bed made. The aid came in and pushed Mom then complained about how bad her day was. When transferring my Mom from the chair they had no knowledge of moving Mom carefully without causing pain, or just didnt care. The EMT's did not want to leave her because she was crying and asking to be taken with them. When I walked in and was told what happened and asked them to call their (the EMT'S) Supervisor to have my Mom taken back to the hospital. They were able to get her back to the hospital. My Mom was crying being so glad to take her out of there. Between the few minutes to get back to the hospital ( maybe 6 mins) the older woman with a very obvious wig had called the EMT'S Supervisor to report that they were obnoxious and mean to her and they not only made my Mom cry, and "Took her against her will." Mom is alert and able to make her own decisions and me being not only her daughter but also POA had every right to take her out. Mom was not required to have rehab. As we were leaving, there were other staff were asking what happened but stated there were many reports against the 2 people we encountered. She would report the EMT'S and make it sound as if she was not the problem. She should not be working there any longer. I called to be sure the EMT'S were not reprimanded. It was a horrible nightmare.
It is a very nice small family oriented building. Even though it only has 61 beds you really get to know the staff because its small. It is so clean and kept nice, very impressive!
Laurel Ridge will always hold a special place in my heart. They went above and beyond for my grandma, treating her with the same love and care they’d give their own family. Every time I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness. The staff kept us updated and made sure we always felt included in her care. Knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared brought us so much peace. I can’t thank Laurel Ridge enough for the compassion and comfort they gave our family during such an important time.
Small facility so more direct care is a bonus! Staff is amazing and most have worked here for 10+ years. Everyone acts as a family and treats their residents as such. Facility is always clean and smells good!
