Resident & family reviews

My grand father spend a couple years in and out of monarch meadows. The entire time he was there they were exceptional! So kind and so nice. Even after he passed away they are still like family. They are there even if it’s just to talk or to help with the process! I recommend monarch meadows to anyone! Beautiful people working there!
Very good care provided for my mother and she loves the food there. Staff is very friendly and they have good activities for their residents. I definitely recommend Monarch Meadow to care for your family member as a personal care provider.

I have been going to monarch Meadow to sing at Christmas time, since they opened in 2018. My friends grandparents were both there. It is the best place in the Fayette County and the best nursing home I have ever been in. The atmosphere is inviting and the owners are so nice ( Dan and Katie). I have some wonderful memories of the residents, with my experience singing at Christmas time there. Love you Guys!!!
"Exceptional Care and Compassion at Monarch Meadow" Monarch Meadow provided my father with a level of care and compassion that went far beyond what we ever could have hoped for. From the moment he arrived, every staff member treated him with kindness, patience, and dignity. They didn’t just see him as a patient — they saw him as a person, and they made sure he felt respected, comfortable, and cared for every single day. The employees at Monarch Meadow are truly special. Whether it was the nurses, aides, or support staff, they were always available with a warm smile, a gentle touch, or a comforting word — not only for my dad, but for our entire family. In his final days, they went above and beyond to make sure he was never in pain, never alone, and always surrounded by love. We are so grateful for the care they gave him up until his final breath. It brought us peace knowing he was in such compassionate hands. Thank you, Monarch Meadow, for treating our father like family — we will never forget it. -Matt and Family
My husband and I found an elderly lady outside in the parking lot crawling on her hands and knees with cuts and bruises on her face/ shaking really bad . He immediately asked her if she needed help she said yes . He called 911 asking for ambulance, workers from this place approached and acted like they just wanted to take her back and not be seen . Then the “alleged “ owner of this place acted very triggered that she was being seen . My husband told the medic “ please allow this woman to talk to a social worker “ , the “alleged owner “ became very angry about it , wanted to mouth off my husband ( that found the elder lady ). This place definitely showed too many red flags 🚩. Please do NOT place your loved one in this place!
The owner is a complete liar and a horrible business owner. The staff stole from my father in law including a gold wedding ring that he never took off but due to his diagnosis of dementia he was unaware. There were multiple rooms with report of bed bugs.
While visiting, I asked to borrow a pen to write down my relatives’ friends’ tel nbrs. They refused, saying not enough phones for residents to make calls. I said he had the right to make calls, & that he had an iPhone but [name removed] had taken it from his remote mountain cabin before he fell. (He’d wound up on his cabin floor 2 days before being found, 2 days during which I’d been trying to call him. I eventually tracked it at 2 am stopping at a Smalley home. Took screenshot. [name removed] still denied having it. Weeks later she admitted it.) Monarch Meadows mgmt said refused to allow anything bad to be said about [name removed] & forced me to leave. Said not to return. [name removed] called - said real reason forced to leave is my relative didn’t want to see me. Months later, staff member who I’d asked to deliver card to him invited me in, said sure he wouldn’t mind. I asked him if OK & he said yes. Told him he had right to refuse visitors & he said it was ok. Then staff said mgmt said I must leave.
