I have been visiting this facility as a healthcare provider for just about three years. This facility and its care teams have made extensive strides in the past year to be the best at what they do. It really shows. I have seen a rise in resident satisfaction and socialization within the community itself. The residents are well cared for and genuinely appreciate the staff and having guests come into their home. Their joy abounds. The facility is very clean and orderly. The staff are compassionate, friendly, helpful, and genuine with the residents, guests and with each other. People care about each other here. And that’s so critical in care communities. The team here is always searching for ways to show they care; and, they are always striving for the HIGHEST QUALITY in facility appearance / cleanliness, care of residents, dining and nutrition, and the communal feel so vital for residents’ wellbeing. THEY ARE COMMITTED to making resident experience the BEST THAT IT CAN BE. Check out who they are. My father-in-law moved to Dallastown Nursing Center. The administration people were very good and very quick to respond. They got him settled in very quickly. We were informed about what the procedures are and the schedules, and so far, so good. They have been very good to my father-in-law and both my wife and I. The staff greets us normally when we walk by the nursing station. They give us an update without asking, and if we need anything, they are right on the spot to give it to us. My father-in-law seems to like the food. The room is a good size for him. He has his own chest drawers. He…

My father-in-law moved to Dallastown Nursing Center. The administration people were very good and very quick to respond. They got him settled in very quickly. The staff greets us normally when we walk by the nursing station. They give us an update without asking, and if we need anything, they are right on the spot to give it to us. My father-in-law seems to like the food. The room is a good size for him. He has his own chest drawers. He has his own TV. He has his own lift chair and also a bed. It's pretty nice. They have a limited amount of activities, and it's hard for him to get involved. They try their hardest, but they play stuff like bingo and stuff that probably he's not interested in.

My loved one is currently a resident at Dallastown Nursing Center and overall his experience at this facility has been good so far. This facility is very small and we are overall pleased with it. However, he requires more care than they are able to provide. Also, their communication with the family is something that needs work.
The community is clean. The staff are awesome to work with, and are very friendly. The communication is immediate and they are willing to talk to the family anytime we have questions or concerns that come up. My loved one has not had to go to the hospital since moving into the community, unlike a prior community they were in.
From the first day my father stepped foot in the Dallastown Nursing Center I knew it was the right place for him. The administrator, nurses, nursing assistants, activities director and assistants, dietary staff and the maintenance personnel all know his name and treat him like a family member. They may be a small nursing home but have big hearts and my family is truly grateful for the love and care they give him.
I am really pleased. They are really up on her care. They let us know when she is having difficulties. I think the food is decent, and she seems to eat. They have activities and do a good job getting them engaged. This was also pretty reasonably priced. I am pretty happy with them so far.
