They don't pay their vendors.

The people at this place have no respect for privacy whatsoever not for their residents it staff or former staff it is not a good place for your family or to work

My wife used to work at Angels Family Manor and she said they would give out medication to all of the residents even if they don't need it. She quit because of the treatment she witnessed the residents had to endure. Check on your Loved ones and remove them right away from this facility.

My husband is in a personal care facility and that place is called Angels Family Manor. It's gross, it smells, and it's dirty. Everybody there has an issue of some sort. It's overcrowded. They won't let my husband take a tray to his room to eat and he refuses to eat in the dining area because there are so many incontinent people in there and they just sit there and poop in their diapers and stuff when you're trying to eat and it's gross. I know they can't help it, but he describes that all the time. My husband is the only one who has his own room there. Mostly, there are anywhere from 2 to 4 people in each room, but he has a 'private room.' He is in there alone, but it's gross. It's just not upkept. It's really nasty. And then he has to share a bathroom with all the people on that floor. They combine the dining area with the activities room, but I don't think they do any activities. I've never seen anyone doing any activities. But the room that they dine in is not like one big area. It's like a couple of different spaces and it's just all cluttered with all kinds of stuff. I didn't even know what that room was. When we went in there and he said, 'Oh, people eat in here,' and I was like, 'Ew!' Other than that area, when you first walk in the place, there's like a small room, and there's another space there and they have these dilapidated chairs and couches and stuff. People just sit down there and there's nothing there to do and there's no TV. They're just up against each other, and it's all soiled, nasty, and awful.

If I could give a zero based on customer service I would. I called for information and the woman who answered said call back at a later time and hung up. I called back and asked if she was an employee or answering service. She said she was an employee. I began to say you hung up on me, I do not know who I’m suppose to talk to when I call back, and asked for clarification. She proceeded to say our med tech, but she’s too busy. I hung up and won’t look back. They should be ashamed of themselves to have such an impolite person at the front of their business. After reading the reviews I feel for the ppl who love there. Big fat zero

They wouldn't take my mother for her blood tests she needed an I didn't know until she died of a massive heart attach do to a bad blood infection that weakened her heart, if they took her for treatment she would still be alive.they stole her money! Her pills were stolen, she was mentally ill, they would leave her filthy and uncared for. This place needs to be shut down, and all the other people that died there for no reason. My mother told me people would die and the body would stay there for hours or days.

My loved one stayed in this filthy establishment for a short period of time and it was an experience we hope no one ever has to go through. They do not coordinate doctor's appointments unless there is an emergency situation. When my loved one did go to to the ER, usually due to poor nutrition and lack of assistance with personal hygiene ADL's, we were never notified. Despite reiterating with them several times that we required a phone call, regardless of the severity, we never did get calls. The building itself is in disrepair and filthy. At most I would see 2-3 employees, always in the cafeteria, for a 3-level building. I witnessed consumers on another floor fist fighting and no one was even aware. There were set meal times and if my loved one didn't come down during the specific time, they did not get to eat. This place took all but $30 of my loved ones income, forcing them to cancel their life insurance policy, and 100% of their tax refund, and even signed them up for SSI and took that in full as well. It is a shame that places like this exist.

The people at Angel Manor are incredibly caring and sensitive. We can't say enough about their level of involvement with the residents and supporting family members alike. They are true professionals with hearts of gold!
