My father has been staying at YouFirst for four months now. And I can honestly say, it has been such a miraculous joy, seeing my father come back to life. My mother died in 2022 and my father was living with us afterwards. After a year, we realized he needed full time care. My father was very lost without my mom, and unfortunately I couldn't fill the void. I didn't think anything could. In just four months, my father has made friends at YouFirst, he loves the staff, he's interacting--he is alive again. The owners communicate with me personally through text, it's very much a friend…

My father has been staying at YouFirst for four months now. And I can honestly say, it has been such a miraculous joy, seeing my father come back to life. My father was very lost without my mom, and unfortunately I couldn't fill the void. I didn't think anything could. In just four months, my father has made friends at YouFirst, he loves the staff, he's interacting--he is alive again. The owners communicate with me personally through text, it's very much a friend relationship as we both look out for my father's best interest. I never feel like a client to them; they are my father's new family. I can never thank them enough for making my father happy again. This place saved my dad's life, and I will always be grateful for them.

I was not impressed with You First Personal Care. It was not up to par. It was run down. The clients seemed happy. They were sitting and watching TV. It was fine, but it was dingy looking. Everything was unorganized. They don't have an elevator and the chair lift going up the stairs for the residents on the second floor was broken, so my friend wouldn't be able to even have a second-floor option. The owners were nice. It just wasn't up to our standard. I hate to even say anything bad because they're so nice, but it was really small and it looked rundown. The room was dark and rundown. There's no privacy in the double room. It looked like a college dorm. They have menu options. They have resident meetings once a month to talk about the food and what they would like, so they do ask and inquire what their preferences are. There are one to two choices for each meal. The place was small, like the kitchen was right there with the dining area, and the dining area was right next to the living room. It was all just together. It gave more of a nursing home vibe like an assisted living facility. The residents seemed happy. They called them by name, they were smiling, and they seemed content and satisfied. They have a TV in the common area. The activities board has something every day. They have bingo, kickball, and stretching. There's a baseball field across the street, so sometimes they go over there and watch the kids play. It's 10 minutes from a state park and 10 minutes from the community center, so if they wanted to go outside of the facility, they're free to go wherever they want.

Today I had the pleasure of interacting with some of the residents. I was amazed at how the staff were professional and discrete with personal care. A meal was being prepared while another staff interacted with the residents. There was a tv in the other room and all residents appeared to be content. Very friendly staff.

This is NOT a good place to leave your loved ones. I’ve seen the patients in the middle of the street obviously I helped him. The owners are rude and fake. The patients are unkept and recently one patient punched another he fell hit his head and died!!! Owners put on show for July 4. Believe me it’s terrible

My brother has lived here over a year....He loves it there....he says the food is great...the staff are nice...they have activities ..... When I visit, the place is clean, everyone is friendly and I love the care he is receiving! Couldn't ask for a better place 💗 Brenda Williams

My mom is currently a resident and I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners and the Personal Care Gives. They truly care about the residents and have many fun events and activities for them! Has been truly a blessing for our family!

The young lady that runs You First Personal Care was very friendly. She provided a brochure with information and was very welcoming. Residents would have bingo nights and events where folks came down to watch TV together in the great room. I was just a little bit surprised by the higher cost they offer compared to the conditions of the facility. It's an old church that they converted to a senior home and it just didn't feel as clean as the other facility we saw. It's very worn. They had shared showers and a lot of shared rooms.

Found this facility on google and was the best thing I ever did. Very clean, friendly and professional. Would recommend again. Manager was very understanding
