Homewood is a great community. They’re extremely friendly, their premises are clean, and they genuinely care about the health and safety of the occupants. Highly recommended!
Went to our aunts 100th birthday party in the community room. Food was delicious. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The grounds are well taken care of. The plantings are beautiful.
My Mom was a patient in their rehab facility for 2.5 weeks. I was blown away with the caring and compassion the staff showed her. She also loved the food! The PT & OT team worked with her and she left so much stronger than she arrived. I would highly recommend them.
Senior citizen campus. Individual villas to apartments to personal care to long term care with a dementia unit
We went to Homewood at Plum Creek. They have the villas, they have the cottages, and then they have the apartments and the care in the big building. It's beautiful. It's very nice. It is in a farm setting. It's very pretty. However, it was a distance for us. Also, they didn't have any available end units, which is what we would have taken if available. The people were very nice. They explained everything and showed you all the stuff you could have with your place. They had a pool, an exercise room, and a library. They had a lot to offer. It was immaculate, too. We looked at the cottages because that's what we were interested in. The cottages were fine; there were nice-sized rooms. They have two bedrooms, two baths, a living room, a kitchen, and a patio.
This is the community for all that are retiring or already retired. From independent housing and houses to smaller apt style living. They have it covered. When the time comes and u need a little more personal help and attention then they have the more constant care facility.Over all homewood at plum creek and there staff have a great out look on moving forward with your life..highly recommend checking them out.
It's all about the money. Which I understand - but they crossed the line when they released a patient that couldn't walk because insurance wasn't going to cover anymore. I, the daughter, offered to pay for an additional day vs risk harm. Once home, I called Homewood looking for a wheelchair to assist me. No go. The patient ended up back in the ER - 1 hour later. Homewood then denied accepting back to rehab because he was a risk for Long Term requirements and his assets weren't enough. Honestly, I just needed the additional rehab time so I could look for permanent residence. I had no intention on leaving my father there at $569 per day.
Friendly staff very clean well maintained facility
