After 25 days in the hospital, I went to VibraLife for rehabilation. I was at VibraLife for 27 days. I received the best care at a beautiful, clean well run facility. I worked with the OT, PT and skilled nursing staff and found them all to be very professional and equal to any care I received in the hospital. The Food Service, Maintenance and Services Social provided timely and component care. I would not hesitate to use VibraLife for any future needs I may have. Bob Finkle

My mother spent three weeks at VibraLife Rehabilitation Center in early 2026 following a 10-day hospital stay. Our experience was mixed, with some genuinely positive aspects but also several serious concerns that future families should carefully consider. The Good: • The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of windows for natural light. Patient rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring private bathrooms, showers, and individual climate control. There are multiple comfortable common areas that encourage socialization outside of patient rooms. • VibraLife offers a wide variety of daily scheduled activities—exercise classes, games, music, crafts, bible study, and more—which are clearly organized on a monthly calendar. • The therapy services are a strong point as well; physical, occupational, and speech therapy are provided by certified professionals with a well-equipped gym. • Most notably, the support staff were consistently excellent—pleasant, kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The Bad: • Unfortunately, the nursing care was inconsistent. The Nurses run the show and some nurses appeared disengaged, unresponsive, or even rude, and RN staffing levels often seemed insufficient. • A major concern was the facility’s inability—or unwillingness—to appropriately recognize and manage my mother’s dementia. Staff frequently interacted with her as though she could reliably process information, respond accurately, and remember things, which led to confusion and frustration, as well as family members not being updated, informed, referenced, and/or included. • Access to the facility is also problematic. Doors are locked overnight (8:00 PM–8:00 AM), with no receptionist on duty, and the phone system makes it extremely difficult—if not impossible—to reach staff during those hours, even in urgent situations. • Additionally, cell phone service inside the building is unreliable, which further complicates communication. The Ugly: Several serious safety issues occurred during my mother’s stay: • There are no doctors on site. Reportedly, two physicians make rounds only once per week each, meaning medical concerns can go unaddressed for days. • My mother was given the wrong opioid medication and incorrect dosage for three consecutive days. This error was only caught because I persistently raised concerns with multiple staff members (the hall nurse, nursing supervisor, assistant nursing supervisor, and facility director). • On her first night, my mother—who has dementia—fell and injured her foot. No one notified our family. The injury required an X-ray (which had to be scheduled through a mobile service), and basic care like wrapping or icing was not provided until I requested it the following day when I saw her bruised and swollen foot and toes. • One evening, my diabetic mother experienced a dangerously low blood sugar episode. Despite clear symptoms and a Dexcom glucose monitor alert, it took an hour for staff to provide juice and food to bring her glucose levels up, and another additional hour for a nurse to check on her. I was on the phone with her directly during this episode which started shortly before 8:00 PM (when the doors are locked), and the delay in care was alarming and could have had serious consequences. Final Thoughts: While VibraLife offers a comfortable environment, strong therapy programs, and excellent support staff, the medical oversight and nursing consistency raise significant concerns. In our case, several situations over three weeks had the potential to become life-threatening. Families considering this facility should remain highly involved and proactive in monitoring care.

Staff was excellent always came when you called them Food was very good and portions were good Physical therapy was handled very professionally

I have just come home from a stay at vibra life and I couldn't be happier, it was my first time there and didn't know what to expect, I found professional and friendly nurses and therapists. The food was pretty good.I recommend this place if you need inpatient therapy. Bonnie K

Our father lives there and they take amazing care of him. They are also truly welcoming to our mother and the whole family, allowing us to remain a close part of his life. Jack is the best in working with residents and family! Highly recommend the care there!

They do good work BUTTTTT: ● Staff are on the grouchy side. ●☑️They need to update their Intake Protocol - a new patient was left for SEVERAL DAYS with NO PHONE in the room. They need to make sure ALL PATIENTS HAVE A PHONE - - especially those who don't have mobile phones‼️

Mom had to go to rehab unexpectedly. VIBRA was wonderful about answering questions/phone calls and she was quickly transported. Everyone was very friendly. Mom’s only complaint was that she was not given her medicine in a timely manner. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience and would recommend:). Our pursuit of a refund for early departure was taken care of and Mom has received her reimbursement. Ty❤️

My dad, 101 years old, lived at Vibralife for eight years. His room was perfect, with a large window, accessible bathroom, and comfortable, even temperature. He always said that the meals were excellent. Dad had dementia and multiple health problems, but instead of keeping him in a locked area or over-medicating, the staff would redirect him patiently and repeatedly to minimize anxiety and keep him safe. They allowed him to have visits from our family dog, and welcomed my sister and brother to play piano for the residents. When he entered Vibralife, he had a very high A1C, which they quickly brought down to a good level. The Vibralife staff worked cooperatively with Residential Hospice in his last months. Special thank you to Kendra, who was with him in his last moments, and Amanda, and Beth, who brought him happiness at a difficult time of his life. The director, Greg, knew him personally, and always took the time to greet us, and answer any questions. The kitchen and housekeeping staff worked hard to make the environment pleasant for my dad. Thank you for your compassionate care.
