Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This continuing care retirement community (CCRC) offers independent living in apartments and cottages plus on‑campus assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Residents live maintenance‑free with access to indoor and outdoor shared spaces, daily dining options, scheduled wellness activities and a staffed wellness center. The community welcomes adults 55 and older and conducts a confidential financial review for prospective residents.
On its 184‑acre campus residents can use an aquatic center, a rock‑climbing wall, a model railroad shop and four dining venues, along with paved walking paths, courtyards and a bistro. The community describes multiple entrance fee plans, including partially refundable options, and allows pets. Programs include certified fitness instruction and a Kinnections brain‑health initiative using SMARTfit® technology.

I have been here nearly 4 weeks and I am so glad I made the move. I got great support transitioning from a large home in a rural area to a lovely little cottage among the trees. I enjoy the quiet, the walkability of the neighborhood, great neighbors and lots of activities. I feel like I am home and that it will get better and better. There is so much to be excited about!
This a beautiful facility with many wonderful amenities and senior living options.

My parents who lived in a cottage on the east side, were there 20 years. Once they needed skilled care, the service went downhill fast. My mom was misdiagnosed by their physicians and died early because of it. The staff treated my dad poorly at the end and left everything to hospice. For me, a terrible nightmare.
The visit and tour of Bethany was very well done. Our questions were answered thoroughly and all staff were kind, caring, and helpful.
