My mother lived at The Haven for over 5 years--3/12 years in assisted living and 1-1/2+ years in memory care. As a Eucharistic Minister for her parish, she had visited numerous assisted living facilities and selected The Haven herself, based on her experiences. It was an excellent choice--she was very happy, and our out-of-state family was confident knowing that she was in a safe and caring environment. The Haven offers many engaging activities and residents are encouraged to participate (and assisted, if needed). The staff is amazing--beyond caring, kind, and communicative. We always knew…

We always knew that our mother was cared for like a family member. I cannot say enough about the compassionate care she received, especially during the last challenging months of her life. We will always be grateful. Thank you all!!
I would definitely recommend the Haven. Heather is amazing. She took care of my grandmother on the memory unit and when my uncle moved in years later, she always checked on him and made sure he was ok. This meant so much to me and my family and we really appreciate her going above and beyond. Rick in maintenance was also amazing. He is so caring and was always there to help my uncle and he makes all residents feel important and seen. Michelle made admission seemless and was always willing to help and also amazing with the residents. John who was in housekeeping was wonderful as well. He was…

He was always friendly and had a joke to make my uncle laugh. Robin and Denise always took great care of my uncle as well. We are, appreciative of the wonderful staff and care my family received!
The Haven is a wonderful place for our mother. They take such good care of her. The staff are so helpful and pleasant. We are very grateful and happy that she is living there. Thank you all. - Jim California
The Haven has been an absolute blessing for my mom. the entire staff - caregivers, dining room attendants, maintenance, administration, are always so cheerful, patient and helpful. i cannot emphasize enough the wonderful way the caregivers are with mom. They treat her the way they would treat their own mothers. Their dedication and compassion to all the residents there, shines through. The meals at the Haven are not only healthy, but delicious! Chef Ken also gets involved with the residents occasionally, sharing his culinary creations together. The activities director, Nash, provides such interesting and fun ventures, at least 4 to 5 daily... for example: "Tee it off", "snowball fight", "Duck Hunt", "Red Hat Society", and they also have outside entertainment come in, providing music, comedy, and pet therapy. The residents have many opportunities for a full, exciting day, every day, which brightens their spirits immensely. What is especially important for my mom is the Catholic Mass and Communion Services that are available. THANK YOU HAVEN, for making the difficult transition of moving mom from living on her own to residing there, so much easier for our family. We know she is being well taken care of.
I can't give enough accolades to ALL the staff from the top down for the level of care at The Haven. From the moment I walked in the building while looking for a place for my loved one, I knew I had found a gem. The grounds are well-kept, the building has modern decor touches, is in terrific shape, and I was met with a GENUINE smile and greeting. I soon found out that they had something like a dozen employees that had worked there for more than a decade and just as many quickly reaching that milestone. After taking the tour of the facility and hearing about all the amenities, I knew I had found the perfect place. This was over 6 months ago, and they have proven themselves even more capable and amazing in our eyes since. Thanks to everyone at the Haven for all the help and peace of mind they have given myself and my family when making such an important choice.
We moved my Dad into The Haven in July 2025. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. The food is great, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely check this place out for a family member that you care about.
Mom lived at the Haven about 3 years and we were totally satisfied with her care. The building and decor is updated and pleasant, they have so many daily activities to keep the residents fully engaged. Mom was always pleased with the food and found it very tasty, her caregivers were always compassionate and patient and kind and made sure she was well taken care of. Mom made good friends with her fellow residents and caregivers alike. Whenever you're there, you feel like part of a family. Sue Loch
My parents have been living at the Haven for a few years. My mom needed memory care and my dad was allowed to live with her in the memory care. He was able to come and go knowing his wife was safe and secure. Sadly my mom passed away a few days ago after a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Throughout her time there she was cared for with kindness and respect. So many of the staff told me how much they loved Bonnie! The facility was always clean anytime I visited and the staff interacted with the residents encouraging engagement in activities and helping them participate and have fun. Slip ( my dad) has maintained his level of independence while staying within the guidelines provided. He will be moving to the assisted living side this week. The Haven staff were fastidious about communicating with me as POA that lived out of state. Amy is the best receptionist, always helpful and kind .Heather, Michelle and Kelly help you navigate the challenges of managing from a distance. I am overwhelmingly satisfied with my parents experiences and would recommend the Haven highly ! Terri Shaffer
