I don't think there are enough words of gratitude to express for the assistance we received from Kathy with Senior Care Authority. She helped us find the right personal care community for our dad in the Pittsburgh area (specifically the South Hills). She listened to our needs, recommended communities that fit our situation, accompanied us on tours (that she helped schedule), and saved us countless hours of research. I don't think there are enough words of gratitude to express for the assistance we received from Kathy with Senior Care Authority. She helped us find the right personal care community for our dad in the Pittsburgh area (specifically the South Hills). She listened to our needs, recommended communities that fit our situation, accompanied us on tours (that she helped schedule), and saved us countless hours of research. Her knowledge, compassion, and guidance made a difficult process much less stressful. At the time that you need this type of help, you have so many other things to focus on, and it's a huge burden lifted to be able to rely on someone else's expertise to guide you through the process. I highly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for senior living options. She is thorough and knowledgeable, but more importantly, she is kind, thoughtful and caring.
Kathy has been a tremendous resource, advocate and source of knowledge in navigating the assisted loving community. In addition Kathy is caring in her approach and flexible in considering solutions

Kathy was spot on with professionalism, experience, and empathy with our family when finding a place for my father.
When a friend referred me to Senior Care Authority, I was already given only one day by the hospital to determine where my father was supposed to go next. It was 8:30 PM when I contacted them and they picked up! From there I had immediate guidance and support for next steps. I was instantly relieved! They knew exactly what I needed to do and asked all the right questions to properly assist me with this process. Within 24 hours they had matched my father with 3 facilities that fit his needs. From there we determined if additional facilities should be considered. Kathy Thompson was in regular contact with me and would be coordinating with the hospice care worker at the hospital. There is no charge to the client for SCA's services! Sadly, my father passed before moving into a recommended facility, but SCA still offered my 13 months or regular check-ins with one of their grief counselors! Kathy also followed up with me to see how I was doing after the funeral. I feel genuinely cared for by this amazing organization. They took the worry out of the process and grounded me in genuine support and solid information and guidance. Five stars is not enough to adequately rate Senior Care Authority. They are truly need by so many and I am blessed to have learned about them.

I was referred to SCA (Kathy) by the discharge coordinator at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh—Kathy was very responsive, thorough and helpful in navigating this often confusing field of “senior care living”, saving us valuable time and energy. I highly recommend SCA for anyone seeking senior care options for your loved one.
Great experience with Kathy helping a client relocate. She is very knowledgeable, professional & kind!
