They took great care of my sister while she was there. Made sure she had everything that she needed. Helped us so much with getting her ready to come back home. Wonderful staff.
Dangerous for anyone with a suppressed immune system there’s a nurse living in the parking lot no physical therapy they left a dementia patient deside his own treatment plan. Dident contact family for about a year that he was there. Not very clean and no enrichment for the patients there do not recommend at all.
I highly recommend that you do not leave anybody that you care about here at the grove aka kadima they are the worst all those other reviews are lies if you love and care about the person do not leave them here
Poor management, indifferent nurses.
They took my sister in before she had medicaid and worked hard to get her approved, then when she was approved, they quickly helped to get her transfered to another nursing home closer to where her family lives.
Do NOT go there! I had a family member that went there after surgery for continuous IV antibiotics. They claim to be a "skilled nursing facility" but I question the skilled part. First, they didn't have the proper dressing for her wound, and had to be told to put caps back on her PICC lines, they were just left open. The nurse changed her pic line with no gloves, also the nurse was sick and didn't even wear a mask when dealing with the patient. When you enter the place and get about halfway down the hall there is a very strong urine smell, and it doesn't stop there! The whole place is outdated and dirty. My family member was in a room that was joined to another room by a bathroom in the center with doors that are supposed to lock. The lock to the other room did NOT work so there was no privacy. The toilet did not flush for a period of time and she had to file a grievance to have the toilet that had feces on it for 2 weeks, cleaned. Right before she was being discharged, they were all scrambling. They had people going in to clean the rooms. They hung a sign up on her door saying caution wash hands wear gloves compromised person. They finally cleaned her room and hung gloves and supplies on her door. None of that stuff was there for the entire 4 week stay. She heard that the state had received a complaint of abuse from a patient's family, and they were doing an inspection / investigation. I most definitely would NOT recommend that place!!!!!
Great staff
My disable sister was well cared for at The Grove. Always working with her disability with dignity. Staff works hard and makes the patients feel special. Thank you, Staff, for everything!
