Resident & family reviews

We picked them because of the affordability and the room size. The staff seemed very nice. It's certainly not a lively bunch of people but I guess that's what is to be expected in assisted living. I would recommend to others. The place could use some updates. We went to one event that promised food, music, and games and it was a bit lackluster and depressing

Holy Family Manor could have been cleaner. The staff was good but medical staff was slow to respond. The Value for cost was ok.

[name removed], the director (I don't know his title) is amazing. He goes over & above to make things nice for everyone. He treats everyone respectfully. Other staff members are friendly and compassionate. My mother in law has been very happy.

My mom is a resident of Holy Family Manor. It's a nice place, very homey. One thing I liked about the place is that she can have a private room at no great cost. The staff is great, and my mom likes the food. I've had a couple of bites when I visited. However, the community is a bit run down and sometimes it's not clean. They have bingo, people come in that sing and play instruments and paint. They have a podiatrist come in and they have a church inside their building.

I went to Holy Family Manor. It was very, very clean, and large. They seemed like they had a lot of activities. Their administrator seemed very involved and knew the residents on a first name basis and was very engaging when we were there. They were doing like an ice cream milkshake night or milkshake afternoon when we were there and making milkshakes for all the residents. They had an activities calendar that seemed to engage the residents quite a bit. The person who gave the tour was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and very personally and intimately involved with all of the residents. It seemed more like a family member than a staff to a resident.

Holy Family Manor was clean and the people were caring. Unfortunately, my brother's dementia caused him to physically strike an aide, so he was only there about 2 weeks, and from there was re-hospitalized

We chose it based on a friend's experience. Unfortunately, it has been going downhill mostly due to a shortage of care givers. It is a mid-price home with some very caring people.

Every single person was kind and helpful at Holy Family Manor. The move in process could use work. As a better procedure of the doctor/nurse should see them at the site within 1-2 days upon arrival. Everyone needs to be aware of DNR immediately of arrival so unnecessary resuscitation is avoided. I/we would recommend Family Manor very highly.
