I recently visited my father-in-law at Spring Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and the experience was extremely upsetting. The facility appeared run-down and poorly maintained. There were bugs flying around the rooms, hallways, and even the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare environment. The dinner they served looked terrible — as though slop had been thrown onto a plate with a dry piece of cornbread added beside it. No resident should be treated that way. There were bugs flying around the rooms, hallways, and even the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare environment. The dinner they served looked terrible — as though slop had been thrown onto a plate with a dry piece of cornbread added beside it. No resident should be treated that way. What concerned me even more was the lack of care from the staff. My father-in-law pressed his call light for assistance, and no one ever responded. When I contacted the social worker to discuss transferring him to another facility, she was rude, dismissive, and condescending instead of helpful. During the visit, I also witnessed a staff member yelling at a resident as if she were a small child. It was heartbreaking and deeply unprofessional. If at all possible, I would strongly encourage families to look carefully at other options before placing a loved one here. No one deserves to be treated this way.

Darnell Murphy i would like to thank all the staff hear for the quality care and compassion that I received while a patient here from the CNA to the nurses to the Housekeeping staff. Even the kitchen staff but most of all i'd like to thank the admissions office. For her going to bat for me to get hear and understanding my situation. I truly.Thank her fromThe bottom of my heart . And a heartfelt gratitude i have her. And even those in the business office as well as in social services and front desk. I am forever grateful to each and everyone of you. Once again, I truly say thank you. For all…

The staff is unprofessional and rude. The facility on the inside is dirty and needs repair.

Please dont put anyone you care about here. Horrible!

I am at facility right now and staff has been great! Supervisor is at nurses station answering phone. Housekeeping is mopping the halls. So, I don’t see any major issues with facility.

As a previous worker the conditions in the nursing home or horrible from working in the kitchen a horrible experience the disrespect of the staff is horrible none of the cameras work if you love your loved ones don't put them there No Stars✌️

My husband has been here 3 days and I am distraught waiting to move him!!! If there were an option for NO STARS!!! This facility is absolutely deplorable. There is no housekeeping or cleaning staff or supplies of any kind. Literally mold, urine, and fences covering all bathrooms. I had to bring in my own supplies to clean his room. All of the medical and personal information of the patient prior to him was left so we had access to it. They have no bed linens, towels or hygiene products of any type to provide. He has crushed legs from an accident so cannot get out of bed and they did not have a urinal or bed pan available for over 24 hours. Halls are filthy as if they are not even being swept or mopped. Residents are NOT being given care at any reasonable level. They do not come when call buttons are pushed for literally hours. One call button my husband pushed took 2.5 hours for a nurse to come and we believe she only came because his phone was on speaker and I was having someone look up the number to send police!!! His roommate passed away and was left in the room for almost 24hours, including while we visited (my 13 year old daughter stayed in the car because of the body in his room) Residents are left unattended in so many ways it's actually frightening being inside the facility. My husband has had multiple residents come into his room trying to take things only to realize he has awake and just leave quickly without words. He was sent to this facility by AMY in discharge from UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for PHYSICAL THERAPY to rehabilitation his legs after all the surgeries. THIS FACILITY ADVERTISED BUT DOES NOT EVEN PROVIDE PHYSICAL THERAPY. THEY ONLY HAVE SPEECH AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AVAILABLE!!!!! I'm reporting this to as many government facilities I can find but please if you have loved ones here GET THEM OUT!!!

I have a dear friend there. They continue to deny him physical therapy. He just wants to go home. The viruses roll through here repeatedly and he ends up hospitalized for the same illnesses multiple times. When they have events, they feed all the food to the staff, and the patients are lucky to get a piece of a sandwich. The food is awful on epic levels. !! They don't allow visits from pets, even dying ones, and it's essentially a prison that you can never escape from. He has to buy his own blankets and towels because they have none, and random people wonder around and get in his bed with him.!! They can't even give him his medication!! DONT PUT ANYONE YOU LOVE IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.
