Really happy with the care and atmosphere at Ivy Park. The staff are friendly, compassionate, and genuinely care about the residents. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and everyone works hard to make sure residents feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for. It’s a great place for residents and their families.
The certified nursing assistants, specifically Ebony, Yvonne, and Tika are doing an excellent job and they should be commended in some sort of way. I'm grateful to be here, to be receiving good food, good care, my meds managed, and a good roof over my head.
My sister was a patient at this nursing home and she died from ovarian cancer that could have been prevented had she received better than prison grade health services. She was never given a pap smear the whole time she was shifted from 3 nursing facilities and the only thing she was being treated for was a bowel blockage and when they figured out that it was worse than just a bowel blockage they sent her to the hospital where she died 2 weeks later. How do these facilities live with themselves? This is just the tip of the iceberg. This facility needs a formal inspection and they need to talk…

How do these facilities live with themselves? This is just the tip of the iceberg. This facility needs a formal inspection and they need to talk to the other patients here. I'm not sure where this will go but I had to tell my Sister's story. June 9th will be her heavenly birthday. Her name was Catherine Napier. I was all she had for support and a part of me let her down. That's my cross to bare. This facility has it's own accountability and consequences.
When we were searching for rehab/post acute facilities about 2 months ago, reviews of most places were horrible, including Ivy Park. Insurance dictated available facilities and we had to put our faith in the hands of staff. Thankfully, Ivy Park proved to be an OK place for our loved one. It did come with some hurdles and adjustments but at the end of the stay, we were not unhappy. Were things perfect all the time? No. But with communication and tolerance of the circumstances, everything turned out ok. The food was mostly good, there was no overwhelming odors, the community rooms were enjoyable, security was good and therapy sessions were adequate. Transition out of Ivy Park was also smooth.
My husband and I have visited this place multiple times to see family and its been interesting to see how its changed over the last year. While the building is worn and old its starting to look better the staff have been respectful to us and the management is much more receptive than previous owners. The service on the floor4 has been decent - not sure what all the negative reviews are about. There's definitely rooom for improvement but you should have seen this place a year ago. Oh and the elevators are fine LOL - just old
The staff does an incredible job rehabilitating patients. The therapists and nurses are well-trained. The place is old and could use some touching up, but the staff is making the most of it. They've taken good care of loved ones.
This is a place to get some rehabilitation services. Reasonably priced for what we needed
The staff has been great to work with! The facility is also easy to get around.
