Providence Place is a happy and supportive place for seniors to live. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every department. There are many activities to choose from and many opportunities to get to know other residents. The facility is clean and well maintained. The food is adequate with plenty to eat and choices to make each day, but the quality could be improved. Overall, I am very glad that my parents were able to live there. If I had the choice, I would have marked 4.5 stars.

Helping your parents decide on a senior living residence can be a very daunting task. My mom toured Providence Place and decided that same day it was a wonderful residence facility and where she wanted to live. We got dad over and he quickly agreed. The residence is clean, bright, cheerful, and well maintained. Alyssa Foor, Director of Sales, was an outstanding resource. She was there with us through every step of the process from completing the application paperwork, arranging a smooth move into the residence, providing an orientation for my parents, and quickly following up on any questions or concerns. Every department in the residence from Wellness, Dining, Activities, Business, Housekeeping, and Maintenance have been wonderful. When we had to make the difficult decision to move my Dad into the Memory Care unit due to dementia the Connections staff was right there helping us. We have met a number of people who have loved ones and friends who live or did live at Providence Place and they all highly recommend the residence.

In early 2023, my Mom was in a cycle of hospitalizations followed by rehab, repeat, due to health issues that made her return to living at home impossible. I had no idea what I was going to do or how to do it when I reached out to Providence Place. Alyssa (sales director) put me at ease by quickly scheduling a guided tour of the facility. She walked me through the application process and scheduled a visit with Mom in the rehab facility, where nursing staff evaluated her and answered our questions. Mom moved into her cozy apartment in March 2023 and absolutely loves it there. I feel very comfortable that she is receiving quality, compassionate care. I visit once or twice weekly and have become well acquainted with the director, business manager, nursing staff, receptionists, and various members of the care team. Without exception, every staffer we have encountered is kind, caring, professional. There are plenty of activities, games and regular outings to stores and restaurants. Mom is a very social person who thoroughly enjoys all the opportunities for companionship and good fun. As a testament to how satisfied we are, we have referred several elderly neighbors. Leaving "home" can't be easy, but the folks at Providence Place truly do try to make residents feel welcomed and valued in their new home.

I moved my elderly parents from Florida to Pennsylvania a few months ago. Alyssa was very kind and helpful with all my questions and getting them set up in their new assisted living apartment. The nurses and cleaning staff have all been wonderful since they moved in. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. My parents love their cozy little apartment, the meals, weekly activities, and being able to have small pets. It's great to feel confident knowing my parents are in good hands. I highly recommend Providence Place to anyone seeking a permanent home for their loved ones.

Working at a local skilled nursing facility and having worked with Providence Place in the past, I can say with full confidence that they are a wonderful facility. Alyssa and Nicole make the referral process and admissions incredibly easy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Providence Place to anyone looking for housing for themselves or their loved ones based on my personal and professional experience.

Really enjoyed my tour of Providence Place. Nicole and Alyssa were great-very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I got to see activities going on and it was nice to see how active the senior community is. The atmosphere felt welcoming and positive, and it seems like a place where residents are truly engaged and cared for. Definitely a great place to check out.

I would recommend Providence Place for anyone looking for a facility for themselves or their loved ones. My aunt is a resident there and receives great care. The facility is always clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have been accommodating to my aunts needs and are always incredibly helpful when we pick her up to take her on outings. The staff is very friendly as well. Providence place has been her home for a while now and to know she is taken care of, gives our family peace of mind.

Providence Place Senior Living in Chambersburg is clean, welcoming, and well run. The staff is caring and attentive, and residents are treated with respect. Highly recommended for quality senior care.
