n my opinion It seems as though they care about money more than residents and their care. They go through staff and administrators like crazy. Several (5) personal care administrators in 3 years. Staff sleeping on the job. PCAs doing housekeeping and reception to save money, yet they are suppose to provide good care for residents too… No med techs to give medications when meds are due! Administration is impossible to get ahold of. Caregivers have been left alone with 30 residents to one person. Supplies are limited for residents. Inconsistent staff, unhappy employees, minimal activities for…

Administration is impossible to get ahold of. Caregivers have been left alone with 30 residents to one person. Supplies are limited for residents. Inconsistent staff, unhappy employees, minimal activities for residents and when they do have activities, majority are ran by the residents themselves. Sadly the residents have to suffer and residents and their families are unhappy. And so much more…. Would not recommend for any of my family members that’s for sure.
Beautiful facility for seniors
I toured this apartment community on behalf of my mom in early June. It was during an open house. In hindsight, I realize there were many warning signs about this community for senior citizens. My assessment is thus: The entire operation seems to use tactics to lure potential apartment dwellers and cottage owners to the community. Only later do they tell you that to meet the qualifications to live there, they require $200,000 - $300,000 in liquidated assets for even the smallest of units, which is approximately 438 square feet of living space. My studio was 450 square feet, so what these…

My studio was 450 square feet, so what these people are trying to sell you is an obvious scam. The individual, Kristine Tobias, tried to suggest low to moderate public housing or seemed to imply I should sell my own assets to put down incredulous down payments, fees, etc. Stay away from such scams. Better yet, contact the PA Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on these people.
About to put my father in law here. Kept up well. Very clean. Grounds taken good care of.
I was a patient at Stoneridge Poplar Run in their rehab section from mid April to the end of July 2022. I would highly recommend Stoneridge Poplar Run. I had been at Poplar Run less then a week when I had a blood clot dislodge and go into my left lung, without the quick and decisive response the staff had on my behalf I wouldn’t be here to write a review for Poplar Run. After almost 2 weeks in ICU I returned to Poplar Run. I couldn’t have asked for more loving care than I received. Everyone from the administration staff to the ones keeping my room clean called me by my first name. Doesn’t sound like much but to the one having to stay away from their family and friends it made a huge difference. They all became friends who took care of me spiritually and physically. The occupational department and the physical therapy department had exceptional personal. Wish I could find the words to tell you in this review how much these people care about you as a person. You are not just someone they have to work with daily but they take a personal responsibility for your rehabilitation. From the day I arrived to the day I left the staff had nothing but my well being and wanted me to be able to walk on my own again and take care of myself without help. I highly recommend Stoneridge Poplar Run.
A dear family member needed rehab after a fall in her home and Stoneridge Poplar Run provided excellent care during her stay. We are so thankful for the progress she made and would highly recommend this facility, its nurses, staff and the administration to anyone.
StoneRidge - Poplar Run was probably one of my favorites. It was a very good option. We liked their care program. It was very nice in terms of amenities and aesthetics, and it felt inviting. The apartments were very nice, and they all have very nice floor plans. What I liked most about this place is all the mechanical stuff is outside the apartment. So, the maintenance could happen without having someone come into the unit. The dining area looked clean and inviting. At independent living, they have a meal plan where they could have so many meals a month. And if you add more meals to the plan, you would have to pay extra. I only met the staff who took us on a tour and she was great.
StoneRidge - Poplar Run was very nice. Everybody seemed to know everyone. The staff seemed to know all the people's first names, and everybody was super friendly. They had lots of activities there with dancing and special programs where they bring people in, and they had special dinners. They had upscale restaurants there for special occasions. They would have special things you could order, and it was just really, really nice. We just thought that it was not affordable for us, but it was an excellent place to go. I remember they had an exercise room. They had cottages outback. That was very interesting also besides the apartments inside. The staff was very friendly and very involved with the residents. It was well thought out.
