My Aunt went there at 5:30 Pm on July 2nd my parents and I got there after 7:00Pm her bed was not made, not even a bottom sheet NOTHING. There was not even a chair in the room for her to sit on. She was in the same brief she left Wellspan in standing at the nurses station. We talked with a nice young girl who said she would keep trying to make her feel at home. My Aunt was scared and confused. I left in tears at the condition of this unit and her bathroom, for $16,000 a month I put her in a hole. But I thought it would get better. It's just been a few hours. Friday July 3rd we arrived with some personal items, we were greeted getting off the elevator with “you need to get her out of here.” I said “why” the head nurse said “ she keeps trying to leave and did manage to get to the lobby.” Are you kidding me, with a code on the elevator?” she said “I am sorry but she does not want to be here.” I said “everyone that comes wants to be here? That's what you need to do, make her want to be here.” She was in the SAME CLOTHING, SAME brief with poop on the bed. Again where is she going to sit with poop on a bed and no chair. Her lunch tray was in the room untouched. I witnessed the nurse helping with the shower complaining the entire time about how she “does not shower residents” and “it’s not her job anymore”. She was scrubbing her private area when the nurse called it “digging” not washing... “DIGGING!?!?" while washing privates. So they call 911 for combative patient. 911 comes and takes her back to Wellspan. She was charged $475 for less than 24 hours of horrendous care. When we wrote a letter to them describing our experience and asking for an itemized bill we were met with the same generic bill and our letter returned to us without a response.
Do not let your significant other go here if you care about them. The staff is the most unprofessional bunch I've ever seen. You have to walk through a maze of dingy hallways to get to the rehab. When my grandmother was discharged, she was explicitly told that somebody could wheel my grandmother outside for her as she is also handicap, they put up an argument saying they didn't have to do that, do you really want your family staying at a place that will only do the absolute bare minimum? They also never went over the discharge papers. The place is a dump, ran by people who belong in a dump.…

They also never went over the discharge papers. The place is a dump, ran by people who belong in a dump. I've called 7 times to try and reach somebody, anytime I get redirected, it goes to a dead line. Patti the "director" of nursing doesn't even care enough to check and clear her voicemail, so it's full and guess what, another dead line. There's a clear reason it's hard to get a hold of people here, they have issues left and right.
The staff is amazing the receptionist downstairs and the nurse Sherry Rivas are amazing thank you everyone for making this easier and pleasant
I visited a relative who is in the rehab section of this facility and it was quite easy to do so. I had gotten clear directions from the front desk receptionist how to get to the room and had no problem navigating since the room was a good distance away. I had a very nice visit!
Duscusting place, understaffed. Dirty. Do not have anyone stay here. Underataffed dirty, staff is not friendly. Do not let family stay here. They claim they want to do better but they cant.. they need the staff even if they are mean. Dirty place dont put family here please
My mother was there, I felt so bad she was there because the staff argued, and was mean. They didn’t have time to answer questions. It was dirty and the food was freezing cold. Do not let your family stay here for rehab. They will say they will drive to do better but they said a staff member would never work there again for yelling, yet they let her work there, if you want a nightmare place then this is it . Please know it’s the worst place ever
Please do not let your family stay here, im so aunt was there and it's was horrible! Understaffed, food cold, staff mean. Never let a family stay here for rehab. It's not clean, nurses argue and are mean. They will reply to this post they stive to make it better. They lie. Don't put family love ones here.. choose another location please
Great place
