My wife was sent here through the pressure of a case manager at UPMC Shadyside.her condition was labeled stable and was released to this facility..My wife has diabetic neuropathy and has suffered kidney failure and heart disease.There’s an odor at the entrance.. my wife’s room has a bathroom was old and had some decay around the seat.that is adjoined to another patient’s room.But my biggest issue is the desk nurse on the floor..At 1130pm I had asked if there would be some one to help my wife to the bathroom because she can’t stand.. She was unaware of who she was or what room she was in..I…

She was unaware of who she was or what room she was in..I can’t ever think of any nurse.I’ve had any dealing with to have such mean attitude, even introducing myself she turned away and wouldn’t not acknowledge my greet…I was shocked at the way she spoke like she was agitated…I got better manners and congeniality from a dog hotel..Who ever runs this facility..needs to be fined and license revoked..
This place should be condemned! I came from out of town to visit a loved one. It was the most horrible conditions I’ve every seen! The patient across the hall had a soiled diaper on the floor, smelling awful ! My loved one room, bathroom neglected! Maybe a call to the State may get some answers!

I visited my Uncle on Sat. Aug 26th!! The building was clean and in order!! His room was Neat and Clean and he seemed to be very very HAPPY and SATISFIED.......
Horrible place!!! Wouldn't send my worst enemy here. There's bedbugs. They neglect the patients. They have broken beds. Ignore the call bells and leave people in pain. What type of place are you running?!?! I sit on video chat listening to my friend yelling for help. Staff ignoring her cries for help. She's not on the proper bed she needs. Don't send your family or friends here..

The staff were excellent taking care of my mother, their patience’s and understanding and care was moving , I know the building is old and maintenance is a issue but we all have to pitch in to make it a good place for her care!!! Thank you
