Resident & family reviews

I would never ever let my mother stay at Park Creek Place. There’s not enough care giver’s to accommodate residents needs. The residents are left alone when they need help. Very limited activities for the residents who are interested in doing more things.. They are always getting rid of people and replacing staff. The facility is very poorly managed. Your family member will only get depressed and want to leave. The management constantly changes and each team only promises change, but delivers unsatisfactory results in terms of seen and unseen residentmcare.

I have Worked in healthcare as a vendor for over 13 years and this community by far is exceptional. Very family oriented and everyone knows all the residents by name. It’s truly a place they can call home with activities being done constantly as well as trips for ice cream and food. The memory care director T, is really big with knowing this is their home and treats them like her family.

We placed my father here late March 2026. The staff has been wonderful to us. Walking us thru the steps and keeping us updated on his progress. Every time I visit there is always activities going on and the residents are engaged. The residents rave about the food and it always smells delicious! They also have outings a few times a month, which are very nice. They seem to really care about the residents. A special shout out to Wendy and Tee who are so helpful & pleasant.

My Mother has been at Park Creek Place Memory Care for just shy of 3 yrs. Over the years, we have seen many changes, some good & some bad. I am not a big poster of reviews but since Senior Lifestyles Management took over and especially since the new memory care director Tamara/"T" took over there has been a noticeable change for the GOOD and I felt the need to share my positive review! P.C.P. Memory Care has become much more lively and enjoyable for both the residents and their families. We have all become family and support for each other. I also need to commend ALL of the caregivers. They treat my Mother with kindness and respect. It's not an easy job and we as family members know it. A special shout out to Kaleigh-(Activities), Mia, Cameron, Barry, and my Mothers all time favorite Pierre who has worked there for close to 20 yrs. She loves Pierre 😍and tells him that all the time, as he does the same to her, making her smile, laugh and feel special. Pierre can get her to cooperate in her care when no one else can, not even her own family. Dealing with dementia has not been easy to say the least. Choosing to put my mother is memory care nearly broke me. I think cried for the 1st 6 months. As for my Mother, she settled in shortly after and now calls it her house and doesn't want to leave there any more for outings. Some of the deciding factors for her placement, was the size of the facility, approximately 40 residents, which makes it feel like your loved one is getting private care. The main thing for me, was 24 hrs access. I can drop in anytime that suits me and that was huge for me as I struggled with her being there. If I dropped in at 1:00 am (which I have done) or 1:00 pm, I saw the same level of special care. If you are seeking kind and compassionate care for someone with dementia you will not be disappointed with Park Creek Place Memory Care.

Tamayra “T” Taylor the director of Memory Care is amazing! She has been there for us as we moved our mom from Personal Care to the memory center. She caring and energetic. She and her staff are very attentive and thoughtful. They genuinely want to know about our family members and has a system so that we may FaceTime with her whenever I want. This is so important to me because I live out of state. Her deep understanding of memory loss comes through in all that she does. Thank you T!

Choosing a memory‑care community for someone you love is one of the hardest decisions you can make. When we brought our family member to Park Creek Place, we were carrying a mix of fear, guilt, and hope—hoping we were doing the right thing, hoping they would feel safe, hoping they would still feel like themselves. Our family member has been in the Memory Care Unit for over 2-1/2 years and it didn’t take long for her to adjust to the new surroundings and people. She calls Park Creek Place her home. What we found at Park Creek Place brought us a kind of peace we didn’t expect. The staff didn’t just learn our loved one’s name—they learned their habits, their quirks, the little things that made them smile. They spoke gently, moved patiently, and treated them with a level of dignity that made us feel like we had partners in this journey, not just caregivers checking boxes. The building itself feels warm and lived‑in, not clinical. There’s a sense of calm in the common areas, and the activities aren’t just “busywork”—they’re moments of connection. We saw our loved one light up during music sessions, and even on the harder days, staff members found ways to bring comfort and familiarity. What meant the most to us was the communication. We never felt left in the dark. Whether it was a small change in mood or a meaningful breakthrough, someone always reached out. That kind of transparency builds trust, and trust is everything when you’re handing over the care of someone who can’t always speak for themselves. Park Creek Place isn’t just a facility—it’s a community of people who understand the emotional weight families carry. They showed us that memory loss doesn’t erase a person’s worth, and they treated our loved one with the tenderness and respect every family hopes for. For us, that made all the difference. A special recognition to Tamara, Director of the Memory Care Unit, also known as “T”. Since she has come to Park Creek Place, there has been a significant improvement to the facility. She knows all the residents by name and is very visible every day, making sure everyone is being attended to and being an active participant in all their daily activities. She makes sure family members are informed of all the special events for "Family Members and Friends events with live entertainment, interaction of the residents, food and desserts and the town center decorated to the “9”s…. a great time had by all. There is usually a copy of the monthly activities at the front desk and also a special notice with dates and time for the “Friends and Family” events. Also a special thank you to Kaleigh for all that she does with the residents for all their activities. A special shout out to all the caregivers… not enough can be said about the care they give to each resident. Not a day goes bye that our family member is telling some caregiver that she “loves” them. It warms the heart. It is the best decision we have made. Update: February 21, 2026 CUPID’S GALA What a fantastic event!! Friends and Family enjoyed a great evening of live entertainment, great food and fun had by all. Thank you T for all you did to make this happen

My mother was a resident at Park Creek Place for the last 2 1/2 years in the memory care unit. It was a little rough in the beginning however, with the new staff and management, the facility has become a true family oriented group. The staff are attentive. My mother is no longer staying in her room 24 seven. She’s now out and socializing and she smiles constantly. It’s definitely the new staff and the new management and ownership. They’ve actually made a place that we would want her to stay for the rest of her life. Tamara is the new director in the memory care unit. She’s been a true blessing. Everything she’s done has been for the benefit of the residents and has definitely improved my mother‘s attitude immensely. I highly recommend Park Creek Place for all your loved ones care.

Tamyra is the the Memory care director, she and her team are dedicated, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to cognitive support with our seniors. If you need a friendly ear to talk to, just call and talk to T! She is happy to help you! Very clean, pleasantly decorative memory care community that offers all-inclusive care!
