I can't recommend Overlook Green and the new management any lower than one star, but rest assured if I could give negative stars, I would. I couldn't morally recommend anyone to send their loved one to this place, particularly post 2026 ownership change. The care here is sub-par, and that's when it is being given at all. My mother-in-law, who spent three years here but was kicked out due to "needing higher care than they could provide," (while she had no change in her condition upon her entry into the facility). Her questionable discharge notwithstanding, this isn't just me axe-grinding due…

I can't recommend Overlook Green and the new management any lower than one star, but rest assured if I could give negative stars, I would. I couldn't morally recommend anyone to send their loved one to this place, particularly post 2026 ownership change. The care here is sub-par, and that's when it is being given at all. My mother-in-law, who spent three years here but was kicked out due to "needing higher care than they could provide," (while she had no change in her condition upon her entry into the facility). Her questionable discharge notwithstanding, this isn't just me axe-grinding due to my frustration over this, although I am frustrated. It's more just that in three years, mother-in-law never had even an acceptable level of care. She would frequently be left in bed awaiting an aide to get her up and out, left on her own at night yelling for help when no one answers the main line when she is in pain and needing support, frequently receive not nearly enough food or protein for a toddler, let alone a sick elderly person....and I could go on. This is undoubtedly an absolutely terrible choice to send your loved one, and can not recommend anyone doing so.
I have visited Overlook Green on several occasions and each time I am more and more impressed! The community is bright and welcoming. Everyone is so friendly and you can see they are all truly happy to be there. The Exective Director and the Director of Wellness are very attentive and care about the residents and team members to which they lead. I highly recommend!

My mother-in-law was being discharged from the hospital and we had to find a suitable facility because she was unable to go back home. The Director of Nursing, Chrissy, came out that day, and 3 hours later she was accepted. Now she has been a resident here for a little more than a year. I can't say enough good things about this facility! Clean, spacious, homey, lots of wonderful resident activities, music programs, therapy pet visits (even a miniature horse!), friendly staff, and both the Sales Admin Jill, and Chrissy, the Director of Nursing, are kind and really care about the residents and their families, and lines of communication are open if there is ever a problem, which they work with you to correct. And cost wise, this facility beats others in keeping costs affordable for this level and high quality of care! I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place for yourself or your loved one!
Very disappointed. Staff took hours to answer call bell. My dad sat in dirty diapers many hours. The facility was clean overall. Even when I would visit and go to the Rn desk they ignored him. I think families should know that the facility is appropriate for independent living not assisted.
All of the categories that are listed have been what we have enjoyed most about the community. Yes, we would most definitely recommend Overlook Green Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.
I would rate all of the categories a 5 it is very clean, friendly staff, many activities, care good we are satisfied. Our loved one is in a single room with private bathroom single bed chest of drawers nightstand he has his own TV many crafts, games, bingo of course, holiday themed parties, other activities including family members to join. Just had Kentucky Derby watch party hats and all! Also bring in entertainment like singers.
What we like the most about Overlook Green is the friendliness and that my sister feels comfortable. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
