Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I appreciate the exceptional care my family member is receiving from the staff. I am very grateful. Many thanks!

Went to visit and "break out" a friend for some dinner. The staff made absolute sure my friend was able to transfer in and out of his wheelchair before they would approve. THAT was impressive and shows the level of care the patients receive at this facility.

My dad was here for a month after being discharged from the hospital. The staff was attentive & friendly. The nursing staff & aides were extremely helpful & didn’t hesitate to offer support to my dad when he needed it. The custodial staff was extremely efficient & friendly. The PT/OT staff were outstanding! It’s clear that they want the best for their patients. They were encouraging and empathetic all while establishing & maintaining rapport with my dad throughout his stay. We are very grateful for the care my dad received during his stay at Northampton Post Acute.

If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. My father was admitted to the skilled nursing unit for rehabilitation after an illness. Because he is on dialysis, we were told he could not stay on the rehabilitation floor and instead had to remain in skilled nursing. Unfortunately, our experience raised serious concerns about the quality of care provided. My father is diabetic and requires insulin management. One of the biggest issues was the food. Meals were consistently poor in quality and often unappetizing. For the first several days, our family brought meals and snacks from home because he was unable or unwilling to eat much of what was being served. The breaking point came when he was served a breakfast consisting of a still-frozen egg and a rock-hard biscuit. He requested an alternative meal and was told another tray would be provided. Instead, staff returned insisting he take his insulin. He refused because he had no edible food to eat. As any diabetic knows, insulin and food intake must be properly coordinated. We also discovered medications were not being administered according to his prescribed schedule. During intake, we were assured his medications would be given as ordered by his physicians. However, when we questioned why nighttime medications were being administered in the morning, we were simply told, "That's how we do it here." After he expressed concerns and refused medications that were significantly lowering his blood pressure, a psychiatric evaluation was requested rather than addressing the concerns he raised. He passed the evaluation without issue. When I arrived at 12:30 p.m. that same day, my father still had not received an edible meal despite multiple requests for a replacement tray. We were told the delay was the kitchen's fault. Regardless of who was responsible, a diabetic patient had gone hours without food while being pressured to take insulin. There were also concerns regarding basic care and respect for his independence. When he asked about having his bed linens changed, he was told staff would bring him clean sheets and he could change them himself. At the same time, staff insisted on bathing him even though he was fully capable of doing so independently. He was admitted for short-term rehabilitation, not long-term custodial care, and his independence should have been encouraged rather than disregarded. Our family ultimately made the decision to remove him from the facility. We experienced poor communication, inadequate nutrition, medication administration concerns, inconsistent basic care, and a lack of accountability. If you are considering this facility for rehabilitation or long-term care, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. No family should have to worry about whether their loved one is receiving proper nutrition, medications as prescribed, and the dignity and respect every patient deserves.

Nurse Lulu is awesome and Aids Pat, Wesley, Adam and others too. They are kind and so helpful to my mom. Pat works so hard does so much for my mom. PT is great they really care about getting patients stronger. I am glad we choose this place.

I have been on medbridge for approximately 6 months. Recently I have been moved to a different hallway and have had a wonderful experience. LULU and Steven the nurses, Ashley the housekeeper and Adam the aide have been AMAZING. I am very pleased with my experience here .

My Mom was brought here for Rehab and I love this place! The entire staff is wonderful and a big shout out to my Mom's favorite Nurse Lulu. She deserves a big raise for making us and my Mom feel welcome.
