LECOM - Parkside at North East in North East, Pennsylvania is housed in a historic landmark building on Gibson Park in downtown North East. The community contains 51 apartment homes in one- and two-bedroom layouts and has a split-level design; about 20 apartments are designated for personal care while the remainder serve independent living. A secured memory care neighborhood supports residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Residents can choose optional personal care and meal services and use community rooms for social, fitness and hobby programs. The location is within walking distance of churches, banks, the McCord Public Library, the post office and nearby shops and eateries. The community is part of LECOM Senior Living, which connects residents to the organization’s geriatric programs and services if desired.

Lovely staff, caring and compassionate. They do go above and beyond with care and making sure everyone is safe.
The facility is well maintained, and the staff are nice to deal with. Compared to several other facilities that I looked at Parkside was the best choice. The nurses were friendly and addressed any concerns I brought up about my brother’s care. The room was spacious and gave each resident their privacy. I am very happy that Parkside was my final choice for where my brother would be living.

We had mom there for several years. Nothing but good to say about the staff and facility.
They seem to do everything. They said they were going to do and helping mom and dad. The food was good. Mom and dad seem happy about that. The activities are usually lightly attended but are available and mom and dad enjoy those the bus offering to drive them around does seem to be somewhat limited, but besides that everything else is pretty straight up
It's got no stairs but it also has limited parking, friendly atmosphere
I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend it. It is the closest to my home and had everything we needed.
Parkside is the best for memory care. They were a blessing at a difficult time. I would highly recommend them. They were more like a family there. I was there frequently and worked very close with them. They are outstanding and I would of never of found them without A Place For Mom. You told me about Parkside and I will be forever grateful. I miss seeing all the wonderful people.
