My father in law is a resident here and our family is very happy with his care and the amazing staff in general. He is on the locked unit for new behaviors that has become more aggressive. We’re so grateful for the support and teaching that the staff has provided.
Do not send anyone there! Poor communication. Bad care. Have ignored issues causing major issues.
Sister in law there for rehab on 2B! Fantastic care! CNAs were great!!
Seriously under staffed and make patients wait HOURS to go to the bathroom. 1 nurse and 2 aids for one floor is unacceptable! These poor people. My heart breaks for everyone in there! If you can afford a better place, please do it!
t/past resident My mother’s care at Kane Community Living Center – Scott Township was deeply disappointing. After mid‑February, her basic needs were neglected, missed daily weights, missed therapy, and repeated episodes of being left in urine or sleeping in her wheelchair. Staff ignored family concerns about her breathing on 2/14, and her condition worsened until she had to be sent back to the hospital, where she passed away shortly after. We expected safe, attentive care, but that expectation was not met. She was there to rehab to get home.
We checked my mom into Kane just a few days ago, and they have been extraordinary. Thanks to Bill, Arthur, Krista, and everyone else that’s been helpful. My mom was immediately encouraged to start her rehab, and Susan the physical therapist was a real pro. I left confident that my mom would be back on her feet again after her hip surgery. Thanks so much to everyone!
Good service specially food here so good
He asked a nurse to turn the volume up on his phone, she took his phone away and went through his phone. They questioned him about the people texting him that were concerned about him not answering the phone. He didn't get his phone back until later in the evening. They've left him in the bed all day and don't even take him out of bed to eat. The abuse is real, believe the reviews. The only positive reviews are from people glad to be "relieved of the burden". If you love your family, do not put them in this facility.
