This facility was the worst I have ever visited. My friend was there and was suppose to have weekly showers after being transferred from the hospital. In 3 weeks she only had one shower after we complained to the activities assistant. The only reason she received that is because her roommate left her have her shower turn. She was suppose to have physical therapy and did not receive it everyday. When she did get the therapy it was about a 20 minute session. No snacks or drinks were brought around in the evening except one time in the 3 week stay. If the client was still hungry there was no option for something else to eat. The one aide helped her to the bathroom and when transferring her back to her wheelchair she fell. Because the aid did not lock the wheelchair. The food was good except she has diabetes and is on a renal diet which was not followed be the Kitchen staff. Even though we were asked about her diet restrictions when she first was admitted. Her roommate called the nurse to use the bedpan at 3:30. am and no one came to help her until 8:30 in the morning. But this time she was soaking wet. You have to ring to be let in or out of this facility. It takes a very long time for someone to come and help you get in or out. This system could certainly we updated to a better one. All the patients in this facility deserve better care. The owners shoul be ashamed of the care their patients receive at this facility. Would they put their loved ones in this facility? Or maybe they should be admitted as a patient.
Absolutely Wonderful!!! My grandma was recently placed here for short term rehab after a bad fall. I visit daily. Her meals always look and smell wonderful. She is always up, smiling and dressed to impress. (Just like she likes it) Thank you to the amazing team for all of the love and support. Highly recommend this facility.
Welcoming staff, hard working team of nurses! And great new management in place.
Great staff, and people.
AVOID AT ALL COST!! My father was a resident there and in September 2023 they overdosed him with another patients medication. They downplayed the entire incident. The manager is worthless. I asked them to cover my father’s hospital bill for the overdose and they refused. This facility is terrible. It needs shut down. Then in March 2024 they gave us one month notice that they were shutting down the personal care side of the facility. One month to find a new place and move. Terrible management. Terrible facility.
Don’t even put your dog here, The independent part is not were you want to be.They will evict you with out any notice. And they have no compassion.Under Staffing. I would not even give them a one star, you treated my Son badly, and you know it. Margaret Kurtz
Only giving one star cause zero wasn’t an option. This place is absolutely awful and needs shut down. I worked there for a month and was not paid a dollar even after contacting the state. Nobody in the building knew who was in charge or how to get ahold of the hire ups. And there was not a single CNA on the floor at times. Residents had flies in their rooms, and were laying in soaked beds for hours.
Place is seriously a joke ...not qualified personal to handle certain therapy procedures, and condition of resident goes downhill and left go They hang up the phone when you try to call there. Staff is short because who knows why and the ones that are there don't seem to know what's going on. Do not recommend this place. The one star is because they do have lights in the building.
