Resident & family reviews

The staff are caring, friendly, and genuinely attentive, and the community has a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Residents here are always cared for and well supported. Highly recommend!

My mom loves this place! When she first moved in I was really nervous about if this was the place for her, and after her first three months I can confidentially say Juniper Village is the perfect place for her. From the activities she participants in to the quality of the food, all I can say is wow--just wow! The staff are great, especially the nurses. From the ones I have met they always make sure my mom is ok, and that is truly all I wanted. I highly recommend for anyone considering this, you will not be disappointed.

We recently partnered with Juniper Village for our swim lesson program, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Kathryn and her team have been incredible to work with since the very beginning. Communication has been great, making it easy to coordinate our swimmers' schedules and adjust pool usage whenever needed. Secondly, the indoor pool area is always clean, organized, and welcoming for our families. The bathrooms are well maintained, and there are always plenty of towels available, which our families greatly appreciate. One of the biggest highlights is how warm both the pool and the overall environment are, creating a comfortable setting for all of our swimmers—especially those with special needs who benefit from a calm, consistent atmosphere. We're incredibly grateful for this partnership and look forward to continuing to work with Kathryn and the entire Juniper Village team for years to come. Thank you for being such a supportive community partner & helping us make a splash!

The staff working at Juniper Village are extremely nice and helpful. So far the food has been delicious and plentiful. Maintenance staff are excellent and go out of their way to accommodate your requests. The residents are extremely friendly making this feel more like home. There is more than enough to do; games, outings, movies, Friday night live entertainment, with beautiful surrounding woods. A screened-in porch adds to the ambiance allowing the beautiful sounds of birds and a running stream to filter through, bringing with it a sense of calm, all while enjoying a lush green setting. The porch is the best part of the apartment.

We loved working with Juniper and their amazing Staff. Kenny and Kathryn were so accommodating to us. The environment & the landscaping was so peaceful and tranquil. The residents & the other staff members all gave us a big hello and everyone had big smiles all day. We’d love to partner for another puppy play date soon! -❤️ Puppies and Yoga Philadelphia

My Aunt has been there for a few months now. Eric, the director, went above & beyond to make her feel as comfortable as possible during her big move. Juniper exceeded her expectations by far. the residents make her feel very welcomed, as she’s always busy doing something now. Can’t forget about all the staff, which are A+. Thanks Juniper. & a special thanks to Eric who is always willing to help my aunt.

Would not recommend at all. Do not send loved ones here. They are milked for every penny they have till their dying day by Katherine the admin. The REHAB unit downstairs + dementia wing is covered in mouse traps and clearly is not being professionally dealt with. They only want your money and after that there's no care from higher ups. The only saving grace is the nursing staff and care aids who seem to genuinely care even when the facility itself fails. I was considering recommending juniper to my friend's elderly mother but after my experience I regret sending my mother here. Management lacks empathy and treats them all as a dollar sign and clearly doesn't mind them sharing their room with rodents!! Im sure Katherine wouldn't want her mother living like this.

Juniper Village has a skilled Nursing unit not fit for humans. The doctor is a disgrace, Dr Jason Estrin. I don't know how a facility can hire a doctor that has such pathetic, horrible awful reviews. He makes no eye contact with you, if he walks in the room and you're there visiting your loved one he walks out because he has no social skills and doesn't want to talk to the family. All he cares about is telling people that he went to Princeton, it doesn't matter, he has no bedside manner, he doesn't know how to talk to families and he feels if a patient doesn't weigh enough and is in her nineties it's a math lesson and she doesn't really belong to live any longer ,that's basically how he talked to our family. When you talk to some of the administration there and make complaints, I was told oh he's probably on the spectrum we think. Very nice HIPAA violation from an administrator there. And when you are trying to feed your loved one to eat and build her strength back and the Nurse Manager comes into the room and gives your sister a look and rolls her eyes because the other sister is trying to feed a woman that she obviously felt didn't belong to live any longer. As a retired nurse, I've never dealt with such disgusting non professionalism. I was always taught smile, be nice to the family, even if you didn't care for the patient. That's not how it is there!! There are a couple wonderful AIDES there and a few good nurses. One night my sister went in and asked the nurse ,did my mother eat tonight, well she had two bites but we didn't have any other time to feed her and really nobody from your family or none of your people came in to feed her. My sister said oh ,I didn't know we were on the payroll at this point!!😡The independent living was very nice and my mother enjoyed it the only few months she was there, but me as a healthcare professional, I was extremely stupid not to check out their rehab, their personal care unit and their memory care unit before I allowed my mother to live there. So ,if you decide to send your loved one there make sure you look at all levels of care before you make your decision to go there!! And I welcome any of you to Google Dr.Jason Estrin.and see how a facility could hire a doctor like this when he has such a zero reviews. I was told by several staff members, it's hard to keep a doctor here, that's just what you want to hear when your loved one is in a place like this!! If by chance you send your parent there to the SNF unit, you must be their voice, absolutely be their voice!!!!!! My mother died and we were told by every doctor appointment, your mother will probably live to be 100 because her blood works like a 30 year old. There's a lot more I could say but it will be said in a different forum. My mom shouldn't be in the ground right now. KARMA to all the people that work there in healthcare that we're not good and would be better off flipping burgers .Think more than twice before you send a loved one to the rehab there!!!!😡😡😡😡
