The news is outside the building and staff are currently on strike for not being paid and also treated like they are beneath their no good admin. She is not letting staff out building and they demand to go on strike !!!! I wish we could give zero stars !!!! Get rid of the administrative staff and start fresh or this will continue!!!! The residents are not getting the care they need if everyone is on strike !!!!first review was removed because I told the truth about the facility.
This building is a JOKE! The whole administration is a joke. They don’t pay the staff on time. They are short staffed everyday. The administrator Maribeth is extremely rude and condescending and so is the Human Resources Michele very rude. They have so many complaints against them. The state had been to that building on numerous occasions. They have an admission bans in place and can’t accept any new residents in that building. They don’t care about their employees. Everyone in that building has quit due to poor management! I would never recommend ANYONE to send their loved ones to this…

I would give them a 0 star rating if I could. My mom was there for 2 weeks they lied to us more than once about things . Plus the place is the most run down nursing home I have ever seen.needs some major fixing up plus they told us my mom had 19 days to stay there then her insurance would run out on about the 13 day her brother asked when her time was up and they said she owed 2800 dollars that her insurance was already up when she came there.don’t put your loved one there!!!
My grandfather was recently there for rehabilitation after his knee surgery, he loved the therapy department & they helped get his mobility back on track. He loved the staff, and we all knew everyone by name. I would recommend to a friend/family member in need.
My mother just recently completed therapy at this facility and we couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience. From the nurses and aids to the wonderful therapy team my mother was able to return home and is doing very well. Been at other facilities in area would say this is definitely all around best one!
My dad was at the facility in April and I have to say that the Activity Department was amazing!! Not only did they have an Easter egg hunt (with prizes) they also had a birthday party for all the residents. For the party they had a DJ come in and they brought down all the residents who got to sing and dance along to the music. Then they had a vendor/car show that the residents were able to enjoy. They had a ton of different vendors and even allowed my dad to vote on which car he wanted to win trophies. Every day they have something fun planned for the residents to participate in. The Activities girls came to his room and talked to him to find out what he would like to do and if there is anything they could do to make his stay better. He had a fun time while he was there!!
Photos to come... I would not put my worst enemy in this facility. Filthy, poor patients half clothed and out of it. Stuck on juice in the hallways. Ants in the room, cracks and holes in ceiling... dirt splatter on doors and walls. Smell of gas very potent on 2nd floor. The Aid working desk, was rude, and unhelpful. I had to demand that she just check to find where they had my family member at. Kept on sending me up and down the unsafe elevator with flickering lights. They said at one point he was not there. I wish he wasn't there, but unfortunately he was. In good conscience, and out of concern for my family members safety, I pulled him out of that place. I hope bugs didn't get into the belongings that came with him from the hospital. I'll have to check before I bring them into my house. Aps needs called to investigate this facility. If your family member is in there, i urge you to please rethink it.
I would not recommend this facility to someone I disliked, that's how bad it is. The nurses are mostly agents and you never know who you will get. There is never enough help especially at night to assist patients staying there. If a patient cant get around well on their own to use bathroom I feel so sorry for anyone needing extra help because there isnt enough of anyone to help. Staff constantly calls off or come in and just leave, who does that. Nobody ever answers the phone and if you need in the facility after 7 p.m. you will wait outside for an easy 30 minutes till someone let's you in. I do give the people working in the rehabilitation area a lot of credit. They work really hard with getting patients moving and stronger and are great to work with.
