This facility smells like a petting zoo and it’s only intensified by the 95°F hallways. I worked there approximately 6 weeks and can count on one hand the number of times the building was fully staffed. The scaregivers use two or three briefs at a time so they don’t have to do changes and some of the residents haven’t been properly bathed in months. Heritage seems to have an ongoing issue with bed bugs. During the “first” outbreak, the owners acted convincingly surprised so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stuck around. I worked there approximately 6 weeks and can count on one hand the number of times the building was fully staffed. Heritage seems to have an ongoing issue with bed bugs. During the “first” outbreak, the owners acted convincingly surprised so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stuck around. When they travelled from the second floor to the third, I no longer wanted to work at this bug infested homeless shelter/dementia unit/psyche ward/boarding house. EDIT (7/5/25): Looks like the elderly of Brentwood will be spared further torment at the hands of Kim. Heritage is shuttering its doors in less than a month! Seniors everywhere are heaving a sigh of relief!
No one writes a false review of a place. Unless it’s true Kim will sit there on endless hours trying to justify these negative reviews
Couldn't get past the smell the further one walked into the building it just got worse. Run down wore out and dirty covered in bedbugs.
Went to visit an old friend and the entire place smelled like urine. as if nobody is taking care of the residents. very unclean facility
Heritage Manor Senior Living is one of the many facilities that I have the privilege of visiting! The owners, Kim and Ed are so active in the “day to day” activities of their facility. They are physically in the building! Every time I visit… they are here… I just love how much they care about their residents and staff. Now… about the building! This building is absolutely stunning! Upon my initial visit here… Kim was so happy to give me a tour! This building used to be a hotel. Kim and Ed have found a way to keep the old charm of the hotel while incorporating the feel of “home”.
This is one of the filthiest places I have ever worked with my agency. Staff is rude. Bathrooms are gross. Patients lay in urine for hours. This place reminds me of a nasty dirty truck stop.
I was in the dr office and over heard this poor lady saying how she’s so mistreated by “Kayla” and how rude and nasty she is. It’s so sad, they didn’t feed her nor did they put shoes on her before she left AND ITS RAINING OUTSIDE. They need to do better honestly.
I toured Heritage Manor Senior Living. The managers were very nice and polite. It seemed like a friendly environment. It was a reasonable cost for assisted living if you're looking for assisted living. They were willing to work with you on your needs and desires, and they were very friendly. The environment was just OK, it wasn't very bright and colorful, but there were people out and talking, and socializing. The residents were very nice. But we didn't like the idea of my mother sharing a room and that's what we would have done. How much we could have afforded was she would have been sharing a room, but the spaces were nice if you like that. Each room had its own bathroom and things like that. Their price range was right around 2800 a month. It reminded me of dorm life.
