One of the most unprofessional disorganized, completely understaffed and mismanaged place I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I would not put my dog here, let alone a family member. The management team, especially causes this place to have an even worse reputation. Tiffany, Richard and Tonya on the management staff are completely unprofessional.
Helping my mother transition from living at home to Harmony for Independent living was made so much easier with help from Nicole. Quick to respond, and always available, she kindly and professionally showed us what the community has to offer. Looking forward to getting mom moved in and settled in a community that appears to have exactly what she needs.
Fantastic community!
My grandmother recently resided there and the facility itself was very nice & clean I love to see all those smiling faces & received so many warm welcoming greetings. The staff were so attentive and caring. The ED was very helpful during the tour but must have forgotten after we signed our lease who we were because she never spoke to us again never acknowledged my grandmother or anything. A few of the ladies that I came encountered with said she never speaks to anyone and always has an attitude I overheard a random rascist slur from her mouth that I dare to repeat. The supervisor down in the unit my grandmother lived in was horrible that place could do with out the “higher ups” because the aids kept that place up and running. I sure wouldn’t mind speaking with the owners of that place because I would not have those ladies any where near my facility. Anyone who is looking for a facility for their family member I do not recommend Harmony as long as Tonya and Melody are there. THEY DO NOT CARE ABT anyone Jus the money
My father is a resident in the memory care wing at Harmony and we are very pleased. Transitioning a loved one to a personal care facility is an emotionally taxing event, and Andrew and Mel were and continue to be very compassionate and empathetic throughout the entire process. The staff are attentive and professional, both with my father and myself. I feel that I can rest easy knowing my father is comfortable in their care!
This retirement home is run like there’s no management at all. The staff does whatever they want, whenever they feel like it, and it shows. No one communicates, no one follows through, and half the employees act annoyed anytime a resident needs even basic help. There’s absolutely no supervision, which is probably why the staff stands around talking, ignoring call lights, and passing responsibilities onto each other instead of actually doing their jobs. When you try to bring up concerns, there’s never a manager available — just excuses, attitude, or “we’ll get to it” that never happens. It’s honestly sad, because the residents deserve better than a place where the staff is unprofessional, untrained, and clearly not held accountable for anything. If you’re looking for a retirement home with real leadership and people who actually care, look somewhere else.
We have had to recently move my mother from independent living to personal care at Harmony at West Shore. The transitional care we received as family members has been phenomenal, all down to the incredible support given to us by Nicole S. She understands the difficulties and frustrations that come with getting care for our loved ones, and was there for us at every turn. We so appreciate all that has been done to help our Mom adjust to a new way of living. Thank you, Nicole and Harmony at West Shore!
Just had a tour of Harmony with Andrew today. This facility is beautiful!!! The staff is wonderful, the rooms are spacious, and there are plenty of activities for your loved one whether you are looking for memory care or personal living. The cost is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend speaking to Harmony if you are looking for a care facility for someone you love or if you are interested in independent living for yourself.
