Friendly residents, gracious and competent staff, so happy to be here!!
My wife and I have been here nearly 4 years. It has become a home. At first it took some getting used to but we love living here. The campus is beautiful, the residents are fun and friendly and there are so many activities.
At the age of 67, my husband and I came to Gwynedd. We have not looked back, but have embraced the community living. We participate in many activities, especially music, our passion. There are pickleball courts that I enjoy and entertainment every Thursday evening. The food is high quality and the staff members are terrific. The medical care and wellness programs are super.. The setting of Gwynedd Estates is exceptionally beautiful and the location is ideal. I highly recommend this community.
Gwynedd Estates is comfortable in size allowing friendships to form with a variety of residents. Its setting is pastoral exuding a pleasant surrounding.
Moving to Gwynedd Estates 12 years ago is the second smartest thing I have done. This relatively small community with a gorgeous campus has rejuvenated my life. I have done things that I never dreamed I could do, such as speaking extemporaneously, writing creative fiction and performing in a talent show. The residents of Gwynedd have become a second family to me.
I visited Gwynedd Estates and looked at their independent living. I didn't like anything about it. I felt like the building was very old and the apartments were extremely small. Everything was kind of a la carte, too. For instance, if you want a new refrigerator and a brand-new apartment, you have to pay for that. The facilities are clean though, and I believe the meals are included.
Looking for an extremely kind, caring community? Gwynedd Estates is that and so much more. From start to moving in, you are the focus of attention: your needs, your wants. I looked at more than five communities. None compared to the warmth of people at all levels of helping me have questions answered, tours, talking to many different residents of Gwynedd. After only two months, I am so happy to have made this choice.. I'm home!!
A girlfriend and I attended their vintage Christmas Sale. We also discovered that they have a "flea market" sale the 3rd Friday of every month. Will let you know what we find...
