Our introduction to ESMCC was initially through the wonderful Day Care Center. The staff , provided [name removed] the opportunity to be out of the house and enjoy the company of others experiencing memory issues. Every day at the Day Care Center the loving and kind staff and volunteers entertain all with games, crafts and regular guitarist guided sing-a-longs of the music of their era. They transform days of depression and heartbreak into an uplifting daily experience. At the same time, providing the 7 by 24 caretaker some relief and the opportunity to take care of daily tasks, business, doctor appointments , etc . We moved my mother-in-law into Elizabeth Seton Memory Care on April 1st of 2024 after visiting 2 other facilities. Elizabeth Seton is amazing! It is clean and has no offensive odors. The staff is amazing! They are caring, kind, and compassionate. Kimmie, the director, took time out of her Easter Sunday with her family to come meet my MIL to be able to get her moved in the next day. In the 6 months she's been a resident there we have been very pleased with her care! The staff communicates with us regularly and adjusts care as needed. The 3 means a day and snacks are great! We feel like this facility is a huge blessing to our mother and our family knowing that she's safe and receiving loving care.
I feel relief to know that my wife is receiving at multiple levels quality, attentive, compassionate and expert care. The dynamics of her care transcends not only her cognitive and mood care but her physical well-being with a healthy diet and activity.
Elizabeth Seton Memory Care Center and the Amazing staff who work there are exceptional. When you have a family member who suffers with a memory disease you worry about their well being and care! The day our mom arrived at Elizabeth Seton Memory Care they took the stress and worry from our family. We know she is in the best possible place she could be in. We feel so blessed that all these wonderful ladies care for and love our mother. We highly recommend this high level of skilled care for your loved one too!
I am from an outside hospice agency.. [date removed] was my first time here.. I've been coming since then.. This truly is an amazing place.. The staff was so welcoming to me.. they are the most friendly and caring staff I have met.. I watch them with all the patients every time I come.. it is a blessing to know how well taken care of the residents are.. they interact with them so much all the time.. everyone is always looking their best.. This place is immaculate.. I am truly honored to be here... It is just amazing watching such people that care..
The Center is a secure memory care facility for female residents. It has a high staff to resident ratio which permits prompt attention to resident needs. Staff are caring and cheerfully address residents by their first names. Staff are responsive to questions family members may have about the care of their loved one. The quality and variety of food is good. Meals are served in a general dining area and are based upon a resident’s preferences and needs. The Center coordinates well with visiting health care professionals, such as nurses and physical therapists. The Center has a referral physician who promptly responds to questions and concerns. Daily medications are dispensed by trained staff who record each medication when given. The Center is attractively furnished, clean, and odor-free. Residents have their own private rooms, but typically spend most of the day in a large central room which overlooks a beautiful garden. Depending on the weather residents can spend time in the garden.
