In the beginning the staff was wonderful but then it went down hill. They lost my dad’s teeth and said they are not responsible for personal items. Laundry never came back kept losing blankets that we brought in for my dad. Nobody contacted me to go over why we left and moved my father to a better facility. This new facility had done more for him in a week than you did in 4 months. The food was the best thing there. If you’re not a female they won’t pay much attention to you! Always short staffed!
My mother spent 12 years at another facility which provided excellent care. It was expensive & well worth the money for the level of care she received. My sister and I shared the expense. Unfortunately, my husband is an only child, so the cost will be resting solely on our shoulders for my FIL’s care. I have exceedingly high standards, so I researched facilities throughout the area & toured several. Many places disappointed me, but Celebration at Exeter checked every box on my list. I’m absolutely thrilled that they had a space for my FIL.
The moment I came to Celebration Villa in Exeter I felt very welcomed! The care is wonderful; Danika and Shirley have a great team to make sure everyone is kept safe and happy! Kevin and Dietary staff are amazing as well! The meals are always hot and ready to go for the residents! This is a great place to be a part of!
Let me start by saying, you will never find any perfect place. No one will take care of your loved one the way you do. But, overall the staff seems pleasant and the care is adequate. The overall appearance of the facility is beautiful, but individual rooms can lack personal hygiene. The pricing of the facility is in range with others, so all in all I would give it a 3.5 out of a five star rating.
The administrative team has years of being in the job there and love what they do consistency is very important. Therapists are great as well. I love that it is a smaller community
Like most - it's smaller, 60 residents so attention and care can be paid. Improvements - additional newspapers to be available to residents. Repave the driveway leading up to the main entrance.
The atmosphere and care at Celebration has gone above my expectations! They treat my father like family when I can't be there, and having been faced with a quick decision to place my dad in memory care/assisted living, I'm so thrilled that we chose them over any other choices!
Always a great experience.Never really have a problem, Staff and? Management are kind and intelligent and passionate and You can tell, That most of them love their jobs, And enjoy take care of the residents. The picture is from an outdoor event that they had late summer. It has something to do with grandparents. It was fun for all.
