It was a nightmare. She went for rehabilitation for her hip.Left there in ambulance to Shadyside hospital with sepsis, uti, and the med they gave her made her pyhscotic and unable to swallow. I read about it and it specifically says not to be used for dementia, infection, and like 3 other things that she had or has. I brought her home to die. Within 2 days she started to come around. She ate and drank like a champ .Laughed and talked. Unfortunately the damage had been done and we lost her due to the sepsis. THEY ARE WAY TOO UNDERSTAFFED..

The staff was very friendly but the facility did not smell good and floors were dirty.

The rehab director Beth repeatedly spoke to my mother with so much disrespect and disdain. I cannot believe this person is a director. She does not seem to have the people skills or professionalism required for this role, and she frequently rolled her eyes at my mother and said rude things about other patients in front of her. The daytime nursing staff were very nice, and the cleaning staff too.

I go visit Ms. Nash, an 87 years old Demetia patient. I am afraid to ask any CNA, Nurse, etc. where she is when I visit. I was told, "I don't know." Then one of the Worker explained what she guess Ms. Nash, the Dementia patient might be. So unprofessional. It's so discouraging asking them to take her to the restroom. As a retired, Educator, I have never disrespected Parents, in the manner I have been treated. I will continue to visit her. There was another incident when I was told not to bring her food, she was on a liquid diet, to find out that was a lie. It's a job visiting my Mentor, as she was a teacher of 40 years, not given the best care. She hasn't had prescription glasses for three years. No dental work, most teeth are gone. As a Christian, I pray when I go visiting soon, I won't be barred from coming. I'm not happy!

I was so grateful to have my dad cared for in his last days here. They were all so sweet and caring with him, ensuring his peace and comfort as he transitioned

Good place for my mom's to recovery

Incredible people!

My client just came home from this place. He told me they fed him a piece of toast for breakfast and nothing else. One of the workers came in and told him he had to get up and walk around and my client needed help getting up and walking around. When he came home his feet were so ashy no one put lotion on him. He’s a black man that turned white. Took me a whole bottle of a small bottle of lotion to moisturize his feet again. U should be ashamed. Do better!
