A family member lived here for about 3 years. The room set up was super nice and was not small at all. The cafeteria employees could not be nicer. The care/communication was absolutely HORRIBLE! Price went up and care went down. Our family always having to hear the excuse we are short staffed. I wonder if the management of Brandywine Communities would want their loved ones being cared for like this???
I am so happy my grandmom is moving out of this place. 3 different times her face got infected to where her eyes were swollen and it looked like a chemical burn and the staff reported that they "didn't notice". How don't you notice when you have multiple staff members supposedly checking in on their residents. They sat down my mom and uncles for their "yearly review" - my grandmom has been there 3 years and this is the first review ever! This place is extremely expensive and they should do a better job! My family has expressed their frustration with the service here and it has only fallen on…

My family has expressed their frustration with the service here and it has only fallen on deaf ears. Lastly, I find it funny that the moment my family posts a bad review, they now have six 5 star reviews in a matter of hours....wonder how real those reviews are!

Absolutely love this place. My Grandmother speaks very highly of all the staff and really enjoys all the activities. She is very happy here and that is the most important thing to me. My family is very pleased with her care and love the way she thrives here. We would recommend it here for anyone's family members.
The staff took such great care of my grandmother and always treated her with kindness and respect. They communicated with our family every step of the way, which gave us so much peace of mind. We are truly grateful for everything they did and highly recommend them.
The staff is wonderful and really cares for our family members. I enjoy the extra curricular activities that are thoughtfully planned and provided.
Brandywine is fantastic. My grandmother was a resident at another Brandywine community, so when our family moved to Pennsylvania, we knew we wanted to stay connected and support the wonderful work they do. Since then, my sons and I have attended multiple volunteer events, including Trunk or Treat, and every experience has been incredible. The leaders, team members, and residents have all been so welcoming and kind. We were especially impressed when members of the Brandywine team volunteered to help establish a grandparent program at two local daycares, demonstrating their commitment to building connections beyond their community. What stands out most is how genuinely the staff care for the residents. In assisted living communities, it's sometimes difficult to see residents who may not have family visiting regularly. However, the employees know each resident by name, remember personal details about their lives, and treat them with such warmth and respect that they truly feel like part of an extended family. It's heartwarming to witness. I love seeing the engaging activities, events, and opportunities Brandywine provides for its residents. Every time we visit, we're reminded of the compassion, dedication, and sense of community that make this such a special place. I would highly recommend Brandywine to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.
Brandywine Upper Providence is truly exceptional in every way!! The facility and the staff and care are the the best!! The residents are happy there too. It really looks and feels like a luxury hotel!! My wife has been there almost 4 months. Our family and friends are surprised how beautiful this place is! We can assure you this will be your last stop in your search for assisted personal care. It was ours😍👍
