Dr Michael Baio's office is exceptional. Their office has a very professional staff. They are compassionate and try to help you even in between visits. I'm grateful for their caring staff and Doctor.

My primary retired after 30 years and I searched for a new doctor. Dr. Baio was recommended by a friend. My husband and I had three appointments with him within six weeks. We met and had a medical consultation, followed by a lab appointment and then a follow up appointment—all in 6 weeks! That was 6 copays @$30 each. We discussed previous diagnoses and medication conditions, medical concerns as well as ongoing maintenance to refill medication. We went over what refills were needed on a monthly bases, transferred all scripts to him and how refills would work. We discussed returning every 3 months for medication checks and follow-up appointments. The doctor seemed great and assured us that he would take our children on as patients as well. We transferred our records(I handed them over and never asked them to copy them). We thought we finally found our new doctor. Two weeks later I call to have my medication refilled that can only be a 30 day supply. I was told I needed to come in for another appointment! ! I explained to the nurse that my husband and I were both just there three times that month and we discussed medication refills with the doctor when he wrote down all of our medications in our second appointment. Why would we need to return so soon? I explained that we had this conversation with the doctor and specifically asked if we would have to come monthly for a medication that I have been on for 30 years. He said no. The doctor told the nurse he never said that (my husband and I were both there)and he said would have to come in monthly. I explained that no one could possibly take twelve days off a year to have their medication refilled and that was not the information he told my husband and I. He basically called me a liar and said that if I didn’t like it, I could find a new doctor! I said, I certainly would and didn’t want to be a patient of a doctor who seems like greed and not patient care has gotten the best of him. When I requested my medical records back that I gave him that month, I was told I would need to pay $30! I said, I will not pay a penny. I just gave them to you this month and they are my records! To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I feel we invested a lot of time (3 visits each and we waited 3 hours at the one visit) and money $180($30 per visit, per person) to be disregarded and told”if you don’t like it, find another doctor!.” No problem, sir. We found another doctor that cares more about us than the almighty dollar. You are exactly the kind of doctor that we didn’t want or need. To expect a patient who has been on a controlled medication to take off of work every month is unrealistic. To then disregard patients and leave them sitting in the waiting room for hours is a total disrespect to them. You waited our time. The money has certainly gotten to you and your lack of patient care is both evident and disappointing. I am happy to say that we found a new, wonderful doctor and I am so thankful that we only waisted $180 plus the insurance payments and time to truly see your true colors so quickly. I do not recommend this doctor at all. RUN!!

Always concerned for your well being. Best doctor in Delco.
