Our Father was a resident for 3 years , Uncle was the most recent resident his stay was short . Can not say enough about the quality of care , the staff and to Micheal our admissions director. Thank you to all !!
My father just became a resident at the East location, memory care. When I came to visit he had started some new behaviors that I wasn't aware of. The aid that was at his lunch table took the time to explained that this was a symptoms of Alzheimer's my father was exhibiting. The aid was more than happy to answer any questions I had and made me feel more comfortable. Im looking forward to my next road trip to come visit. I'm interested in any tips from the staff at Autumn House East regarding visits . What could I bring to do with him or for him to make him as comfortable and happy as…

Its a nice facility and the folks are nice there
Love this place! Excellent staff, too! What drew me there though, was to reconnect with a lovely resident/best friend of my mom & her son (best friend of mine)who visits often. Grateful reconnecting with friends who are truly family, & have been for many decades!
The residents are very nice who live here.
I have no complaints or concerns with Autumn House. My dad is enjoying his time there :) The team has been great to work with. They are compassionate and helpful with my dad. They have been very patient with him as well.
I visited Autumn House East. The gentleman was very helpful and very nice, but they don't do long-term care like my relative needs. He needs full care. He needs a Hoyer lift and two people, getting in and out of bed and the bathroom, and they don't do that. They're just assisted living. The residents there were walking with walkers or needing help with walking, but it seemed like they were in pretty good shape. It's very friendly. The gentleman knows people living there by the first name and says hi to them. Nothing like what my brother-in-law is in now. It's very clean. I wouldn't be afraid to stay there if I had to. I know other people that were there, and that's how I can sort of rate it pretty good. They were residents until they got too bad, they had to go to a nursing home.
Autumn House East was very nice. The place was older, but it's very well kept from what I saw. The apartments were very nice. We got to visit with a lady that lived there and she couldn't say enough about how wonderful the staff is and how happy she is to be there. We looked at their dining area. It only serves lunch and dinner, and lunch is the bigger meal of the day which is their choice to do. He said you can also get breakfast if you want to order it from them. There were individual tables with usually four people at each table. The gentleman was very nice and friendly. Everybody was, actually. The rooms were large. Your living room and kitchen is a combination with a lot of room. The bedroom doesn't seem to be big. The bathroom had handicapped access. They didn't have a whole lot of closet space. The staff was very nice, as were the rest of the staff we met. It's an older establishment, but it was decorated beautifully. It looked like you were stepping back in time and it was gorgeous. They did an excellent job.
