When looking for a facility for my loved one who has young onset Alzheimer's, I chose Arden Courts. The fact that they only care for those with memory issues, means that they are familiar with the behaviors that come with dementia and are familiar in how best to help the residents. They have gone above and beyond to use personalized strategies to manage his behaviors and they treat each resident as an individual with individual needs. The facility has staff on hand to handle most issues and reliable resources to bring in if needed. The staff all know my loved one by name and will talk…
The staff all know my loved one by name and will talk directly to him which lets him know that he is a part of the community. The resident rooms are small, but for a person with dementia that makes it easier for them to find everything. Also, it encourages residents to be out of their rooms, be social, and attend activities. The facility has an enclosed outdoor courtyard that residents have access to.
The staff at Arden Courts went above and beyond to facilitate admission for my loved one during a very stressful time. For that alone I will always be grateful. The entire staff is amazing and work very hard to make the residents feel safe and cared for. They care for the families as well as the residents. I could not be more pleased with our choice of facilities.
My family is so impressed with the staff at Arden Courts! They are caring professionals who go out of their way to help their residents and families. I am so happy we made the decision to move Dad to Arden Courts!
I moved my sister in law into Arden Courts after a terrible experience with an assisted living facility with a memory care unit. We are beyond pleased with the attention and care the staffing gives to their residents. They always keep you in the loop and notified should a situation arises. They keep the residents engaged and don’t just leave them sit in their rooms. They are an impeccable stand alone memory care facility. I highly recommend Arden Courts for any loved ones facing dementia or Alzheimer’s.
I sang at your facility from 1998-2020 when covid hit. I miss you all so much. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom while she was at your facility
With almost 30 years as a personal trainer, I've had the opportunity to work with many seniors in various care settings. I can genuinely say that the level of care at Arden really stands out! I'm currently working with a gentleman who was previously at a different home. His calves and quads always carried a lot of fluid. Since he moved here, that fluid retention has significantly decreased, almost by half. We focus on strength, standing, and balance three times a week, and it's clear he's consistently well-cared for.
My father, who had Advanced Alzheimer’s disease, lived his remaining months at Arden Courts, and my family and I could have not been more pleased with our choice. Not only did they have a firm grasp on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses, the entire staff was caring, attentive, patient, and kind. They were flexible and accommodated my father’s special needs, and the environment was warm and comfortable. Before my father’s Alzheimer’s worsened and he could still comprehend simple things, he commented several times that he liked living there. When we’d visit him, he always looked dapper was in good spirits. Thanks for your care and support!
After having my father have issues at a couple other memory care places, not keeping him clean and having behavioral issues that were not handled well, we are so pleased with Arden Courts in North Hills. His hygiene is well taken care of and he is clean, shaven and is dressed every time we have popped in to visit. Additionally, they ensure he is up and has access to food if he is hungry. The staff is very caring and friendly.
