Amoroso Wellness at York

Thank you does not quite say enough to express how we feel about the care Walter and June Cass received during the time they lived at Amoroso Wellness. It was a tough transition for them selling their home and moving to a new place. The staff at Amoroso welcomed them with open arms. They were treated with kindness, respect, love and caring from beginning to the time they passed away. The staff did everything possible to keep them active, helped them make friends with other residents and loved them like their own family. They went above and beyond at every transition and decline in health to make sure they had therapy, organized medication, and doctor visits. Even when it was time for Hospice and end of life care was necessary, they did not cease to offer what was needed. The staff and management offered EXCELLENT care for them and also was there’ for the family members and friends when visiting, Amoroso became a home for them at this somber stage of their life making it as joyful and meaningful as possible. Thank you to every person involved in their care at Amoroso.

Roselynn was great! She went upstairs to check on my mom with her phone issues. She charged up my mom's phone and then wheeled her downstairs to call me so I'd know she was ok. Thank you dear

Erica is doing a super job keeping the second floor clean and fresh. She is always busy making sure her job is done well!

They care and work toward building great community. Communication is sometimes hard but has been improving greatly. I appreciate the strives toward including families. Keep up the good work.

The first shift aids are very good. 3rd shift is horrific. if your loved one needs assistance overnight or weekends, go ELSEWHERE. the director does not care to improve anything. My mother was left to lie for hours without response to the call bell. She was dropped and another patron crawled into her bed! no response from the facility and no follow up.
