Ambler Extended Care Center

After my mother's hospital stay, I visited several rehabilitation facilities before choosing Ambler Extended Care Center. The moment I walked in, I noticed something different—there was no odor, just a clean and welcoming environment. From Admissions Director Raquel Jones to the nursing, rehab, and support staff, everyone treated my mother with kindness, dignity, and respect. The rehab program, headed by Patel, was outstanding. They went beyond traditional therapy by helping her practice real-life activities in their rehab kitchen and laundry area, and they even conducted a home visit before discharge to ensure she could safely transition back home. The team also worked closely with me to make that transition as smooth as possible. My mother is very particular about her surroundings and her appearance, and the staff embraced that. One of my favorite memories was bringing her church outfits on Sundays. The staff would wait to see what she was wearing, compliment her, and make her feel special. I would just smile because they treated her like the queen she really is. The food was good, the activities were thoughtful, and my mother especially enjoyed the church services and even an ice cream truck visit during her stay. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can give Ambler is that I never felt like I had to be there every day to make sure my mother was okay. As an only daughter and caregiver, that peace of mind was priceless. Thank you to the entire Ambler Extended Care Center team for helping my mother recover while making her feel safe, valued, and cared for. I will always be grateful.

I stayed here after a really difficult accident. Everyone was amazing, from the doctors and nurses all the way to the people who cleaned and brought the food. I’m only 43 and it would be very easy to have been miserable being stuck in a rehab facility but the staff was so pleasant and kind and amazing I had a pleasant stsy. Thank y to all who worked there and made my time there as pleasant as possible

Ambler Extended Care Center is an amazing facility. My first call was taken by Raquel the Marketing and Admissions Director. She patiently answered my questions and reassured me that my husband would be well taken care of by describing the PT, physician visits, meals and daily activities. After arriving, my first thought was “wow this place is clean”! My husband was brought to his room and they worked tirelessly to make sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed. THE ENTIRE STAFF every day from cleaning to maintenance to nutrition to PT to speech therapy to nurses to social worker to the nurses to the activities coordinator all led by the amazing, Raquel made my husband’s 2 week recovery the most comfortable experience we could have asked for. Thank you to everyone who helped my husband in a crucial part of his recovery. Your dedication to patient and family care is top notch.

The patient care is excellent , the facility is clean staff professionalism is on point and accommodating for all patient needs.

I went to go visit one of my family members and it smelled like urine this place is a mess residents trays all over don't go here its horrible all they do is lie! and employees are rude!
