Administration is a mess the administrator has no nursing background is absolutely clueless with how a facility is ran and the Director of Nursing is even worse, she is beyond unapproachable but she never leaves her office anyways. I wouldn't allow this place to take care of my dog. The foods always cold, the van driver complains about taking residents to appointments, there's never any clean linen or soap for the residents. I would have left 0 stars if I could. Don't send your family to this place.
This post regards Jens Snack Shop....I have spent the past few months visiting a family relation at the Premier Health facility in Washington, Pa. Jens Snack Shop is a revelation! I have never had a bad meal. The quality is tasty great and consistent! Always worth my time and money. The food is matched by the outstanding service. I have observed staff interactions with residents of the facility and outside guests. The level of professionalism, respect, and in some cases patience humbles me. This truly is a great place to enjoy!!
A family member of ours was at Premier with very bad leg wounds (recurring ulcers). Sandy from wound care did an excellent job of caring for his wounds. The proper care had not been given at his previous rehab facility, so his legs were "terrible" when he was admitted to Premier. Thanks to Sandy, he was able to go back to doing PT.

Thanks to all the attentive staff for helping me during my stay. The physical therapist and occupational therapy staff...I feel so much better than I thought was ever possible. Just think...I can walk up stairs again after 10 years of struggling beforehand. Also a shout out to the Snack Shop... pleasant staff and even greater food.
Do not trust 5 star rating. Residents are sitting in their own waste for many hours, bathrooms are too small for anyone, staff unwilling to care, no water given unless you chase down staff! I wouldn't let them watch my dogs!
I'm a Family member who had a loved one at Premier Nursing Center! I want to make a shout out to the Snack Shop who in my opinion has the greatest food in the Pittsburgh area!! My Wife Phyllis who was a patent in rehab had me order her something from Jen's Snack Shop everyday because she loved the food so much! The Waitress that work there are so kind and friendly that they really make you feel like you are part of a Family! This really helped me through Phyllis stay at Premier! Jen's Snack Shop is highly recommended.
Jen's mushroom Swiss and bacon cheeseburger was awesome 👌 all her burgers and fries are good but this was the best burger of hers! Best burger in a long while for me
My mother was there for about 2 months. The therapists were wonderful. We’re very pleased with the care she received
